Thanks Lesley. Wilson was trembling in the car, brilliant at the vets and with plenty of treats on hand had no idea he had even been inoculated. Cried on the way home. I popped a big duvet in the car so that he could view the scenery.
She also said that there is a Lungworm infestation in the South West at the moment and to take good precautions as sadly they have had two deaths recently.
Wilson weighs 7.9
Delighted to get back to his friends who were equally as pleased to see him.
I am sure that your lovely girl had a ball.

Lung worm is worrying. Keep up the advocate peeps. No surprise Wilson has interest.

Yes lungworm very worrying, can we use any prevention? How thoughtful of you Nancy for the duvet so he could see out. He's such a brave boy, Esther not having her second jabs until next Friday. Seem to have knocked the day poos on the head (jinxed it now), but not the wees, she rushes back indoors to go on newspaper, ahhhhhhr!!!! Ralph and Grace have completely excepted her now and she sleeps with Grace at night with her paws touching her, very sweet to see.
I see that little Bear has been chosen for a future adoption, I hope that it is a brilliant future for him if it works out.
Have a lovely evening and peaceful night.xx

Lesley, using Advocate spot on monthly gives protection against lungworms. You also need to give something like Drontal as Advocate doesn't cover tape worm.

Sooooo proud of this little chap ...
Time for all three to go out for last piddles then bed. He comes in as I am just placing a new piddle mat in his crate (never used it however likes to tear it up) and gets straight into his crate and lies down. Not a peep. I hadn't even had time to put his little treat in.
Alfie and Wilson enjoyed a brilliant game together with a soft dog toy, one at either end, pulling and growling like mad. I think they eventually tore it apart.
Wilson and Suki also enjoyed some fun and games together running around the garden madly.
Alfie was in his bed minding his own business when Wilson thought he would join him. They snuggled like this for a while.
Wilson has just about learnt not to pinch the older dogs food and today all three ate treats out of my hand together. Alf and Wilson will eat out of the same bowl. Suki is getting there but what is hers is hers and what belongs to the others could also be hers.
All poos outside and all wees on the mats or at least tried to but a case of watching him carefully to see if he wants to go out and also regularly taking him out too.
No attempts at chewing today but he has been kept busy with the toy box, a friend visited and also the other two to play with and of course, us. He is excellent at occupying himself with the various toys, lids, pots etc he finds.

Thanks for your kind comments. He is such a sweetie that really he does most of it himself with just some regular gentle guidance and ample patience!
Little rascal had me up twice during the night but perhaps this was due to his vacs yesterday. The vet did say that he might feel a little under the weather for a week or so.
He is now asleep with Suki.

Lovely photos Loz.
Wilson instigated the group howl this evening! Can't recall whether that was before or after his sharp little teeth caught and tore a sizeable hole in my favourite cashmere cardigan. My fault for wearing it.
He had an absolute ball with Suki this evening. The noise level was horrendous and it sounded as though they were killing each other but by gosh he kept returning for more. I had to stop it before it ended in tears.
Treasuring having him fast asleep next to me as I type.

Just chatted again to Marian who is very excited to meet Wilson in a couple of hours. How lovely is this? ... her daughter has travelled down from Birmingham especially to come and meet Wilson.
Bless him ... no idea what is in store for him. He has been racing around the kitchen and dining room like a thing possessed. At the moment he is sitting on the mat by the door, which he tends to favour, with both ears dropping forward onto his eyes and looking so gorgeous.
We will all miss him, especially Alfie and Suki, and wish him heaps of love, fun, etc etc .... I wont lie ... I am looking forward to having my house, garden and time back!
A very special puppy and I do hope that their new parents can keep in touch. Perhaps Esther and Wilson might be able to meet up.
