Marmite continues to be a very good boy and we have have no accidents so far this week! I have taken to enclosing him in my small hall using stair gates whilst I'm out and so far I have had no wees on my return! Maybe he feels safe and secure in there? He is such a funny thing though, like whilst you trying to eat dinner he will throw his toys around the front room trying to get your attention! Of maybe he was a court jester in a previous life?? I have tried to get a video but it never lasts long enough before he needs a nap. Here's a picture with him and my Colin.
Marmite seems very relaxed and is busy making himself at home. Despite watching him carefully he managed to pee both downstairs and upstairs but hopefully, having marked his territory, that will be the end. He has played in the garden with Bailey, my daughter's dog, and been on a walk across the fields, though not off the lead. He paddled in the river briefly but then decided it was too cold. He follows Bailey around, licking the insides of Bailey's ears (!) but mostly trying to hump him! Bailey is too patient and we hope he will tell Marmite off in time. He hasn't tried to get on any sofas yet - but he does have the choice of three beds and a cushion in various places around the house. He has eaten well and quite a bit of water. We all love him to bits!
