Great update Barney. Marmite sounds like the perfect houseguest. Thank you for opening your home to him.

Sorry folks, he is still looking x That's almost unbelievable, given what a handsome, sweet-natured gentle lad he is.
Marmite will be spending tomorrow afternoon here, & I'm really looking forward to renewing acquaintances with the boy.

'Twas a case of waggy tails all round on Marmite's arrival yesterday - the lad & my girls are quite comfortable in each others' company.
Marmite took some time re-acquainting himself with our home-kennel, including exploring the kitchen worktops but not attempting to steal owt.
We had a couple of walks in the park - Marmite was as good as gold on the lead, & enjoyed the unfamiliar scents. During the course of his visit he also enjoyed a couple of dental sticks & some chicken nuggets.
Once again the boy was a complete gentleman throughout his sojourn, & 'tis still beyond me why he hasn't yet found his forever home.

Sorry for not updating but I've had a horrible virus over the last couple of weeks. Well Marmite continues to be Marmite!! He sleeps, eats and has one or two 30 moments a day with his toys! My daughter walks him after school with her friend and his mastiff/Belgian shepherd puppy and marmite is a complete gent with her. He still has the occasional little old man accident when left but that really is his one and only problem if you choose to see it as a problem. Marmite would cope fine on his own with plenty of human company. But he would be equally pleased if another dog was about! (Preferably a pretty lady cos he likes those) Marmite also loves kids of all ages and loves an afternoon school run!! Here is a kissy pic for your Marmie fixation!

He may have a home offer on the table, but we need to see if we can get a homecheck or share a homecheck in Warwickshire. B.50.
He so deserves to have someone make a fuss of him for his remaining years. Although Penny says that he is going backwards in age, and getting more youthful daily xxx
