Aaawww Sara, am blubbing here for you as your so lovely and it must have been so hard for you , but also blubbing happiness for Oscar as it's so lovely he has now found his always home ;D and what a home it is! ;D sounds perfect for him!!! I've been doing so well today - keeping busy and trying not to miss him too much - and now you have made me blub too!! I keep wondering how he is getting on. I hope he is happy. He deserves to have the best home ever! He was in the rescue kennels for 5 months before coming in to foster with us for another 5 months, and he's only a young dog, so has probably been looking for his forever home for half his little life! Max is settling a bit now, but he has really missed him today.

I haven't heard anything from them. I said I would wait about a month before getting in touch, to give him time to settle, and then we will get together for a walk. So as soon as I have some news I will post here and hopefully remember the camera! x

I spoke to them the week after adoption. All was okay. I've just left them a voicemail again.

Fabulous to see Oscar here in Happy Endings. Lesley emailed me this evening. It did take him a while to settle to sleep in the hallway with the other dogs, as of course he was used to sleeping in our bedroom with our hounds - but I knew he would take a while to get used to his new family. So glad they are pleased with him. We will organise a walk together very soon, and I will take my camera! ;D

Well we met up with Layla and Oscar for a walk this evening - he was so excited to see Max! We had a lovely walk. Layla was off lead the whole time - Oscar has been a really good influence on her recall! I did take a photo but am too tired to upload it to Photobucket this evening - but I will post it very soon. Lovely to see him looking so happy!
