Joe went to visit Graham his lovely vet who was happy with Joes leg.Joe has been given a weeks worth of Antibiots as there a little part of the wound which hasnt healed as well as the rest,i have some hiscrub to clean the area twice a day.And yippi his lampshade has come off now ;D :Dso joe is a happy chappie. He can have four 15min lead walks aday then back in his crate,he can go in to a small room soon between walks ,but he feels safe and happy in his crate and darts back in there after a walk . Joe continues being a lovely well behaved chap, but he has soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much energy he needs to use up ,he is wanting to run and play,so is best walked on his own as he gets very excited that its playtime when he goes out with mine, and sadly Joe isnt allowed to run and play for a good few weeks yet. I shall update with pics soon ,cant find the camera at the moment

For the past month Joe has been resting here nicely,he soooooooooooo wants to play now tho,i think he has a couple more weeks until he can have a run, which will be scary after being so careful and strict with him ,i would hate it all to go wrong.Joe is walking very well on lead,i do have a video which ill upload later . Graham the vet wants the see him in a week or so just to check him ,before he has a run , More about Joe Joe is the most loveable chap,he is about 2 at a guess,he is great with other dogs, has been great with all the humans he has met at home and out and about,he hasnt been off lead yet ,so i have no idea how his going to be Re- recall .he can be left crated for a couple of hours without a mumble,he is a great traveller ,just settles down in his crate. Joe is still scared of certain things tho,like-you cannot carry a brolly while walking ,he struggles to get away, you have to be careful moving your arms fast ,he ducks, and you cannot shout at the kids/hubby as he gets upset, ill put photos on when im back from the hospital later

Bless him Yvonne. Looking forward to the video and some at home shots of the lovely lad. You have been so good for him. Not sure I can hang back on the shouting here. Ronnie has just had to get used to my outbursts.

He does have the most wonderful coat, can't wait to see the video. He sounds a really good boy considering how much he must be desperate to have a good run and play.

Just wondered how did it go at the vets? And the Big Question is: Has Joe had his first run yet? He's a little smasher. Love the pink spot on his nose... Angie

Joe is becoming a very happy chap ,although he is still very hand shy,i havent let him off lead yet out and about because he is still a little scared of things and i think he will keep running if he gets spooked. So i am taking it slowly at the moment, but i cant wait to find a fully enclosed area so i can let him run.He is such a wonderful patient dog ,and so handsome. ;D It's fantastic to hear and see how well he's doing Yvonne. I know it's a bloomin' long way to come but you are welcome to bring him here anytime - we've got a good sized. completely secure field and he knows our Flookie girls well.
