Poor Joe, sending healing thoughts for him. It makes me sick to my stomach how some people can be so cruel. Thank you for taking care of him.

Smokey Joe has been in his foster home for a couple of weeks and is gaining confidence,he is still very hand shy and prefers to have ear ruffs and cuddles when you are sitting,if you are standing he still shys away,he loves his walks and seems to be coping better with his leg,we are still awaiting on which route to take regarding his leg.he sleeps all night without a sound, and has been left crated for a couple of hours with a pigs ear while i shop.He loves traveling in the car ,and settles in the crate sleeping Attachments:

It looks, specially in the first photo, as if he's putting more weight on it now. ;D And the last one.

Just caught up on this. Please give Joe a gentle ear ruffle from me and a nose-lick from Kalli who says to tell him that everyone at Fitzpatricks is incredibly well clued-up and just lovely Hugest hug to you Yvonne for giving this boy the love and gentleness he clearly so badly needs Audrey x

Fitzpatricks rang today. Joe is booked in for his referral and possible op on the 17th November. He will be going over to Donna and Mark beforehand and will stay with them whilst he recovers enough to go back to his foster mum Yvonne. He is such a lovely dog and deserves this chance. If they open up and find that there is too much damage then the leg will be amputated. Joe is living in pain right now, and even through all of that he is being such a lovely dog.
