Ollie is blossoming daily. he has gone from a very shy and withdrawn boy, to one that has finally found his paws,.... well 3 of them anyway. Still quite a bit to go with the leg. we should have been going to the vets for a check up this afternoon, but due to the weather, and my car being snowed in, i have had to cancel todays appointment, and make it for 30th december, weather permitting. We are forecast for more snow later on this afternoon through til tomorrow morning Ollie is getting very dependant on me, and follows me constantly around the house, and will howl if i go out, but he is a good boy. i am looking forward to when i can actually take him out for a walk on the lead, but have to wait for clearance from the vet first. His is still limping, and often reverts to 3 legs, but i think that has what he has been used to doing, so perhaps that could be habit, but also his recovery will also take longer having had the cartilidge in his knee removed. new photos will be posted soon, (embarassed to say that i still have to rely on Jenny to post them for me, but i have emailed some to her)..thankyou jenny. you will see that where Ollie had the operation on his leg, has healed so well, but obvioulsly the muscles that previously wernt used will need building up. Ollie does take a long time to trust people, especially men still. if only he could talk to us but there is no doubt that he loves other dogs, and is very comfortable in their company. From all of us here, we wish you all a very happy Christmas, and i will let you all know how Ollies next check up goes.

Ollie just has not got the hang of Christmas yet having spent ages last night wrapping xmas pressies, i was alarmed today to hear the sound of ripping paper, the pressies, were inside a bag, but ollie had decided to unwrap them, and the trapper hat that i bought my daughter, (thats one of those hats with plaits hanging down, and a bobble on top ) Ollie had managed to unwrap it, and pull off the bobble. i have just spent the last half an hour sewing the bobble back on it,.......wasn't easy,......and i dont sew either i will have to have a work with Ollie, no pressies opened til Christmas Day, and then only your own and i thought it was only the kids i needed to hide the pressies from Big mistake!!
