Where does the time go? ... We've had Suki two months now already and six months since we've officially had Jack too (I should probably update his Happy Ending too) and we luv em luv em . With the hot weather they've not had too many off lead walks but yesterday we went out for a foresty stroll as the temperature had dropped a little, followed by liver cake. Wait for me Jack! Nice Princess Leia ears there Suki Hmm now which do I like best, liver cake or horse poo ... both lip smackingly good A darling in the daisies She's just a delight, and lazy ... the last one up in the morning even after Abi and that's saying something, but such a darling. She greeted Tim home from work by jumping up at him again this week. No interest in playing with toys yet but if there's a dog chasing a ball up the forest, she's off in hot pursuit. Other than that its minimal effort all round, if you saw my Judging A Dog Show thread you'll know what I mean and even on a walk through the village, if I stop to talk to someone she lays down! We've discovered she does like to dig . The rapidly increasing hole in the garden just out of view of the house was being blamed on the other three until I caught her at it .... soil flying, head down the hole and subsequent dark smudges on her face and the look of ''What? It wasn't me, honest!" My 9 year old nephew was wedged in between Suki and Abi this morning and said he'd like to swap her for their Westie. He said that Suki is his favourite because she's so calm. Children are certainly drawn to her. And now she's even more picture perfect with Dominique's stunning collar Not much more to add wordy wise to Supple Suki but check out those legs!!! Updated to add : Suki is shedding soooo much hair that our chocolate brown sofa throws may have to be swapped for something paler just so the hairs are less obvious .... BUT .... I've just discovered I can actually vacuum her with the nozzle !! Nothing phases this gal, nothing.

Hardly seems possible but our sweet heart Suki has been with us for a year!! ;D I'm a bit late posting on here as her actual Gotcha Day was last Monday but we've not been back long from holidaying with the hounds in Scotland ... and her special day was spent in Yorkshire . What with a hol in Wales too this gal gets around a bit. She's gone from being shy and retiring and not wanting to get her feet wet let alone muddy to a confident minx who not only gets muddy but was racing around in a loch in Scotland and shoulder dives all too frequently in anything that stinks (I think she prefers khaki green to cream)! She's still lazy being the last one to move in the morning, lays or sits down at every opportunity, plods happily at my side off lead in between chasing Jack and squirrels (or rolling in dung ) , worships the sun, raises her paws for food or a cuddle, is so affectionate and photogenic, a calendar pin-up and a photo competition winner . What a change in her life hey from last May . Here's just a little montage of her year ... We luffs ya Suki

Well remembered Rachel yes we were in Scotland when Jim picked her up. It was this holiday last year (if that makes sense) when we heard about her and couldn't get that sad face out of our minds. And now she's been to where we were when we fell for her...she's gone full circle.
