Morning all . Well little Poppy is a poppet, have to keep checking she's here! She went through the night without making a sound, ventured from her bed to the sofa for snuggles, had a walk with the pack, a small breakfast, checked out the garden and is now snoozing in the sun . This little girl is totally unphased by everything and the other three have just accepted her right away . Couldn't resist getting the camera out so here's a few more of this gentle beauty... Sure there's a little smile there SLR sis n bro And a HUGE thank you to the Tyler-Mounts and Stokers for being lovely lovely friends. You guys are special . Karla, wished I'd taken a pic of your face when we told you what was potentially about to happen .

I'd say good luck in your new home but she blatently doesn't need any at all. She's a real beauty... the lucky Hunters me thinks!

A little quickie update on miss flirty-pants .... I took her with Rosie to meet my parents and their Boxer dog Oscar today and oh how I wish I'd taken my camera ... this quiet soul sprang to life! She was play bowing with him, running around their garden and playing chase around the flower beds! I looked on open mouthed.... She was such a tease too, giving him the 'come on' look swishing her tail, pricking her ears up and making little whimpering sounds but as soon as Oscar approached her she sat down and stayed firmly planted. Not that he could 'do' anything anyway but his drooling said it all . And then I caught her in Mum's kitchen with her paws up on the work top! They're used to monkey behaviour though with dear Abi (she's had a roast chicken off their worktop before, and it was a long way for her to reach!) Back at home little poppet is all meak and mild and butter wouldn't melt . She won their hearts over with smiles and a lovely lean against Mum's leg. The slightest rattle of a lead and she comes running up but stands patiently in line for her's to be put on. Poppy Molly Polly Pops (keep calling her allsorts!) is quietly confident on our walks, very keen to have a nose in any open doorways and was even gently pulling this afternoon. Me thinks this little lady is starting to come out of herself .

I'm thinking Miss Flirty-Pants has a thing for Boxers...she was all show and whimpers again today but it wasn't Oscar this time . Poppy Molly Polly Pops (still cant settle on her name) has been all bouncy in the garden today with little sort of play lunges with Jack. Thank goodness he doesn't bundle her, she'd be knocked out in seconds! With the sun being out today all 4 have spent most of the time switching beds on the patio. Best of all, apart from her belly crawl across the sofa this morning from Tim to me , was seeing her clear her dinner bowl for the first time, eat a Dentastix which until tonight she's turned her nose up at, she then sat at my feet and raised a paw before running up the garden all happy skippy ;D . She's now cozied up on the sofa cheek to cheek with Rosie ahhhh. I think she's happy . Promise to get some more pics on here soon.

I don't know about Poppy having a smile on her face but I can see your smile as you type your updates Sally! She is a love and your parent Boxer is not safe!!! He is going to be in love with her forever by the sound of things. Photos please!!!!!!! Failing that, we need a walk soon.
Gilly, you had a lucky escape as I could not see this one leaving your pack if she had been with you much longer. Well done for letting go!

Awww, it is so lovely to hear she crawled over to you Sally and is eating treats This little hound has a majestic way about her and I believe that everyone, and hound she meets will just fall head over hills in love with her. Well little darling Poppy Molly Fizzy Candy Chloe Jasmine Lily Willow Flopsy Foxy Pixie Poppet Flirty-Pants (to list just a few of them ...if only we would could settle on one ) is a treasure . There's nothing to not love about her. She fits between us on the sofa and makes the sweetest softest snuffly deep breathing when she's sound asleep...cant help but smile at her when she does it . We went poopy shopping this week and she was the star attraction in every shop but took it all in her stride. She has a fascination with open shop doors and their big windows, which has made me wonder if she's spent time as a street dog maybe with someone begging and so associates them with food and warmth. Anyway, she now has a lovely bright pink collar, pink fleecy harness and a comfy bed which she picked herself ... she got so comfy in it in the shop we couldn't get her out! Abi has now commondeared it and although she is a bit big for it, spent all last night in it and wouldn't budge until walk time this morning . Its been great to see her interest in food increase this week . Almost every bowl is being polished with her fave food toppings so far being tuna and grated cheese. She takes biscuits to her bed and enjoys a good chomp on rawhide chews which will help keep her teeth clean. Initially she wasn't keen to eat with the others but now they all line up in the kitchen and wait for the bowls to go down . She's starting to play more in the garden with t'other three. Yesterday Jack ripped part of a pad off and as I was tending to his wound I caught a glimpse of Abi and Flirty Pants play bowing and pouncing at each other ;D ...wish I could've seen it all instead of blood mopping . Jack is totally lurve struck with her...he keeps nudging her with his nose, flicking his tail high and whimpering at her. Poor lad pushed his luck this morning though and gave one nose shove too many resulting in a snappy growl and he retreated indoors less than happy. She's off for her first vaccination this afternoon but she's just so calm it'll go without a hitch for sure. So the bit you're waiting for .... apart from a decision on her name (Candy is the latest cos she's sweet as sugar ) ... piccies! Oooh hellooooo I'm sitting on it so you cant have it! I smell a rat! And room for me on the end Abi that is NOT your bed! No more pictures please. Be sure to get my good side Jack tries to woo his new lurvely Whimpering sweet nuffins His grin says it all! Pretty in pink Soaking up the sun Whilst the OH isn't here I'm off to make a liver cake for Sunday's walk. He wont let me make it when he's in because of the pong.
