With Christmas and New Year's Eve over, it is time to look forward to all that 2016 will bring. Willow will be going to her forever home on Friday 8th. We shall certainly miss her. Her fun loving ways has kept us amused for a few weeks and we are sure she will continue to keep her new owners on their toes. She has been a delight and we love her much, but we are happy that her new owners will be able to provide her with all the love and attention that she needs. Marty will be taking her to Southampton to meet with her new owner who will be driving down from Clacton on Sea. Carol has decided not to make the handover as she always blubs, and didn't want to make a fool of herself. Weather is terrible today, howling winds and torrential rain, so no walks at the moment. Due to be brighter later, so fingers crossed we can get them out, as the garden is like a mud pool at the moment. Will update you all on her journey with hopefully some pics of her handover. Happy New Year One and All.

Willow is very clever, she has worked out how to open doors(with lever type handles), even if they open towards her,she hooks her foot over the lever and pulls it towards her (whilst walking backwards on her hind legs) . now we know why dogs keep appearing when we know the doors were shut ,we will have to watch that one.

This is why I had to replace our front door lever with a nob! Hopefully Willow is only opening inner doors.

The day for Willow's travel is nearly here as tomorrow she is off to her forever home. We have had her last walk with us today and her little suitcase is packed with all her toys, PJ's made especially for her and her spare waterproof coat too. It has been an interesting few weeks and we have learnt to love her for all her little ways. She is going to make her new owners very happy when she settles with them. Carol will miss her greeting in the morning with her tail and bottom wagging - so cute and her cuddles on the sofa. Marty will be taking her to Southampton to meet with Richard and will have all the necessary paperwork to deal with. No doubt the house will be a lot calmer without her and our four can get back to their quieter life, but we think they will miss her too. Will put some pics up of her handover. Happy days little one.

I don't blame Carole for staying at home, I'd be blubbing all the way across the ferry! Safe journey Marty, and good luck Willow in your new home.

Well yes Willow has left the building. Marty took her across to Southampton this morning to meet her forever family with Richard and Brenda. Willow was very good on the Jetfoil and the journey was good. The handover went well and both Richard and Brenda are thrilled with Willow and there was a few tears on both sides. Have just had a phone call from them to say they have arrived safely home in Clacton on Sea and Willow has already been in the garden for her toilets and is now sniffing around their home. The house here is very quiet and we shall miss this little girl, but it is heartfelt to know she will be in safe hands and can continue her journey with love. Our dogs seem to be wondering why Daddy returned without her, but no doubt will soon settle into their routine. Pics to follow of the handover - you can see how happy Richard and Brenda are to have her. Be happy sweet girlie - Thank you to Richard and Brenda for driving down to collect her.

Above pics of Willow at the handover to Richard and Brenda - Willow looking a little confused and her tail is right under her, but we are sure that will change soon. Bye Bye little one - love you lots
