Yes it was good to see you all , Fran It is a shame about the wind, they do like going up on the downs ,but with the wind at the moment,we stay down on the flat.see you soon when the weather gets better (hopefully). Willow is really settling in to the routine now ,she loves to play with the other dogs ,but is quite happy to play with her toys ,(when the others get fed up ,as they are quite elderly now) she is very good with them and knows when to stop ( they will let her know they have had enough.) She has seen a few rabbits and she is very keen to get at them , No off lead yet as still early, will try her with long lead when weather permitting ,still can not get her to sit on demand, I think her food desire is to great and she stands on her hind legs ,she will lay down when we eat,(when told no ) And settles down nicely into her bed when it is time to sleep will try and get more pics soon weather permitting.

Willow has been with us for a while now,she is clean in the house from the word go, walks with our dogs or on her own, can pull a little bit at first (halti should cure this) . She is very wary of other dogs when she is on lead ,but was fine with frans lot on the downs,(it might be our Eva starting it off, she always barks at strange dogs ,but not in a fierce way . a few words of comfort and willow seems to settle. She is getting used to traffic now,all in all yes is a delight and funny to watch playing with her ball,or soft toys

She sounds like a lovely little girl, and is learning well from you and your pack.

Willow relaxing with Leo and Shaunee -peace reigns LOL. Willow continues to learn to relax more and doesn't bother the dogs as much now, although she still loves to play. She is happiest with company and enjoys having us around. She is learning to relax more on her walks, but she does seem to love the rabbits and fox poo!. We still haven't let her off lead and we use a long lead so she has some freedom to enjoy her sniffs. As yet, both of us haven't been out together so just one of us goes shopping or whatever. She does fret a little if one of us goes out but she will eventually settle down. She is a sweet girlie, still very puppyish and will give her love to you. She enjoys a cuddle on the sofa and will rest her head on your lap.

Haven't put up a thread for a few days, so just thought I would catch you all up. Willow has come on in leaps and bounds now. Still loves to play particularly with her ball but is more restrained with the rest of our pack. She will come when called from the garden and seems more relaxed and confident to take her place on the sofa or in her bed. With some more training she is going to be a sweet loving girlie, we shall certainly miss her when her forever home comes up, and it is a shame we cannot keep her, but that is the decision. She loves her walks and is good in the car. Initially will bark if we see a strange dog on our walks but we soon are able to calm her down. All five are sleeping on the sofa at the moment, probably thinking about dinner later. Bless

Yes, great news that Willow will be going to her forever home in the New Year after she is spayed. Clacton on Sea is her destination where she will have the beach and the park to discover. Her new owners will be coming down to Southampton to collect her so no transport to arrange. Well it is Christmas Eve and we are more or less organised apart from the fact that both Marty and me have both gone down with this cold and cough virus - nice timing!! Family are thinking about whether they will now come tomorrow in case they catch anything - Hey Ho. Doggies are all OK and looking forward to opening their presents, will put some pics up of them in their Christmas finery. Have a great Christmas everyone and a Healthy and Happy New Year

Am trying to put finishing touches to various items and constantly washing my hands with a tea towel over my face - a really becoming sight. Hey Ho it could be worse. Hopefully tomorrow will see us up and running - with 5 dogs we can't do much more, bless them. We would certainly miss them if they weren't around.
