Goodmorning everyone, well not a bad night. Marty stayed downstairs with Willow as she doesn't do stairs. Two of our dogs also decided to stay downstairs, no doubt interested as to why this was happening.
Wightlink were very helpful yesterday as it was apparent she would not take the stairs, so we were able to take the lift to the lounge area and sit at the front with her. Thankfully the ferry was not busy.
We have 3 steps to the front of the house and 3 steps from our French doors to the garden and Marty has been carrying her each time, but we shall start to address that asap.
Willow is very puppyish and we think she is younger than 2-3, hopefully the Vet visit on Tuesday will clarify her age.
She is a real sweetheart and her fur is really soft. Probably needs to put on a bit of weight. She does like to play and play bows a lot to our dogs. They do not seem too impressed at the moment, but guess that will improve as they all get used to each.
She does like to eat, although when we are eating she does not attempt to interfere.
She is curled up in her bed at the moment, but no doubt as soon as breakfast appears she will be out of that.
Thankfully our garden is fully enclosed by 6ft fences as we understand she had jumped the 4ft ones whilst in the other charity.
Just a few pics up but will get more up later. Now time for breakfast.

what a stunning girl, sorry I missed this everyone, she looks beautiful. I don't think she will be around for long. Well done all for the mammoth transport run
Monday morning - decided to have a quiet day yesterday after her long journey on Saturday. Guess they all didn't mind as it was very cold and they all slept most of the day. She sure is a cutie. We shall be having our walk later in the morning. She takes everything in her stride and doesn't seemed fazed when she tries to play with the dogs and they just ignore her. She has had a zoomie with Leo (our biggest boy) and there is a video later on the page. She asks to go out and seems well adjusted to doing her toilets outside. Our biggest breakthrough is that this morning after a lot of dithering at the French door, she eventually went herself. YAY! She was so desperate to get out to play, another video further down. Not so good at coming back up the steps, Marty had to carry her, but she will get it soon.
She sleeps well and is raring to go early morning. There is no aggression at all, either with the dogs or her food and we can take anything away from her, although she loves playing with her toys.
Someone is going to be thrilled with this cutie, she gives lovely hugs and nose rubs, bless her. Very puppyish and it is a delight to watch her antics. More info after our first walk with her. She of course will be kept on lead. It will be interesting walking with five dogs, but hey guess we shall manage.
Marty is having trouble putting the second video up, but he'll have another try later.
Another break-through - Willow has come in by herself. We put treats up the steps and one inside the door and although it took her a couple of minutes, we just ignored her, she did it. YAY again. Clever girl. Probably no stopping her now. Marty has popped off to get her a new coat as the one she was kindly given, which is lovely, is several sizes too big. Hopefully when we go out to walk we will get some more pics. Happy days.
Another quick update. They all enjoyed their walk after lunch and Willow behaved perfectly on the lead. We did keep them all on lead as we didn't think it fair for her to watch them zooming about. I'm amazed how all the dogs seem so settled and although it has only been a couple of days, I believe they know she is young and as she shows no aggression whatsoever they relax with her and vice-versa. They have just had their tea and all went into the garden for their toilets, all respected each others privacy and they then came in one by one. Willow is a pleasure and we love her already.
Hopefully Marty will at last get the video on of her zooming in the garden.
