Ha ha ha - he had us all fooled! 'Gentle' Ben is a skilled agent who had two initital objectives:
1. Find rescue space (preferably fostered not kenneled) - tick 2. Get forever home - tick, objective attained in less than a month
Once in forever home, he had three targets:
1. Use of human bed 2. Access to comfy chair 3. Priority on sofa
SUCCESS - all three targets attained in 48 hours. I reckon he could give Mission Impossible a lesson or two.
Joking - he is obviosuly an absolute sweetheart. Well done to everyone for helping this boy to a wonderful life.

Refund required on the dog bed. Naaahhh, Rita can sit in it now that there's less room on the sofa! Just realised where Rita is sitting in the most recent photos! xx

Ben continues to be relaxed... He has a new coat too! It's getting chilly out. He was told to stay for the photo, hence his being statuesque!

That is definitely a ‘I don’t want to sit here while you take photos’ pose!

Ben is too chilled to greet visitors. John went to visit and was met with this.

Bet this boy can't believe his luck 😊 I collected this handsome chap from the pound before handing him to his foster Mum and what a good place he is in now. Merry Christmas lovely Ben.

Bet this boy can't believe his luck 😊 I collected this handsome chap from the pound before handing him to his foster Mum and what a good place he is in now. Merry Christmas lovely Ben. Thank you for collecting him. He is the most adorable dog. He loved playing with Ziggy and Patch, running and chasing on Clacton beach over Christmas. After we left, he looked for Z&P in every room, Rita said. It was so clear that Rita and Ben adore each other. She cooked him a turkey and sausages! (we don't eat it). It is certainly a happy ending. Z&P are off there for a mini break in January for a week. I think they will have a lovely time together. Dx
