This little chap needs to come in through no fault of his. His owners have split and the lady has taken away her two dogs, leaving Elvis home alone. His owner says that he is crying without the other two dogs and has had to go home and bring him to work with him for today. He also lived with a cat. The other two dogs were a Jack and a Lab. He is a handcock Lurcher and his owner has trained him off lead. He is worried that he will get into the wrong hands and so has asked if we can take him. Can anyone take this pup today?

No, he's only six months old.

This is dire. The owner's boss had him last night for him and he is at work with them now. Keith can take him for a couple of days, but only for a couple as he is helping out a family member with their dog towards the end of the week.

Mmm - probably not me for fostering as first choice then. If no-one else comes forward then it may be worth a try with Zeph - it may depend on this little chaps demeanour.

Oh he is drop dead gorgeous. Just love the blue eye. I would have him like a shot but Rowlf would terrorise him.

Huge thanks to Keith and Mollie, who are taking him in for a couple of days for us to arrange a permanent foster. We still need that foster.

Huge thanks to Keith and Mollie. I'm going to be in the U.S. for a few weeks so can't help I'm afraid. I hope this lovely little boy can find a foster to help him in his journey to a new life

I can maybe take him if he is house trained and he isn't a dominant boy who would try and challenge Zephyr - I wouldn't think he would at 6 months but it isn't so much that Zeph would hurt him but I wouldn't want Zephyr to feel put out having an un-neutered male in his home. Maybe know more once Keith and Mollie have met him.

This little chap was delivered to us early evening, having spent most of the day in a crate. He was pleased to have a garden to run around in, but was very nervous. Lorna told him off a couple of times for being too forward, so he gave her a wide berth! Hugo was prepared to play a bit, but didn't terrorise him. Elvis really is just a lanky baby, quite hungry, but very biddable. While we ate our tea he snuggled down under the table on a dog blanket, and when we then sat down to watch TV he snuggled down between us on the settee and slept peacefully. Now it is time for last weeks and a biscuit. He wolfed down the biscuit and then wanted to finish everyone else's! Although he did a good poo this afternoon, we have not yet seen him do a wee, despite lots of encouragement and even a solo walk down the road.
Whoever takes this little boy on will have loads of fun.
Tonight he's going to sleep in a crate beside my bed.....I'll tell you in the morning how much sleep I get!

He does sound very sweet. Such a shame he had to be given up but thank doG for a caring owner. I hope everyone slept soundly

With eyes like that he should be Bowie rather than Elvis.
