Shadow came under SLR’s wing via a local rescue we work closely with. They had taken Shadow in at the request of a vet who had been asked by his owner to put the healthy young lad to sleep for no apparent reason.
Shadow looks to be no more than about 12 months old, & is in good condition.
He is affectionate towards both adults & children, & gets on well with other dogs.
Shadow has a very playful nature, very much in accordance with his presumed age - he played with Annie for most of the three hours or so he was here this afternoon.
Shadow is not yet neutered or microchipped – this will be rectified at the earliest opportunity.
He's a lovely little lad, (sorry, didn't measure him, but he's smaller than Winnie), who is currently being fostered by John & Viv, with the assistance of Jack & Honey.
Anyone interested in offering Shadow, (his original name, to which he answers), please contact either Jenny or myself.

It's taken most of the afternoon to upload my pics to Photobucket. It's my first uploads for some time, so it asked if I wanted to use the bulk uploader. As I was also adding other pics, I did. It decided I needed a newer version of Java. That downloaded, then it went to the Sun website, which suggested I get an even newer version of Java. The computer hung, I think because I agreed to download the Google desktop tool and it monopolised my memory while it indexed my files.
Reboot, rehang, release of tension through the use of Anglo Saxon.
Anyway, here are a few shots of Shadow. He was chipped yesterday and weighed 13.8 kg. Compared to our 2 at 25kg, he's as light as a feather and a poppet.
Here come the pix:
He was bathed
He sleeps again
He sees himself on screen
Mrs DADI is smitten Honey less so
He will make someone very happy as a companion and playmate.
Lovely piccies John. I met up with John and Viv for a walk this morning with Tag and Megan. He is every bit as scrummy as Viv and John say he is. He has a little temperament to die for. I can see him excelling in agility. Did you see that lurcher lean in the video ;D
A dog is a gift in life. Love and protect it. _________________
