Thank you so much for having my big baby , I know you will fall for him just like I did . He had a really good time with his two favourite Blond Bombshells this morning running round in circles one either side of him. We will all miss him but he needs to be away from small temptations! Looking forward to meeting you on Wednesday evening.

Dave has gone with his new fosterer's Nanette and DAVID , now that will be interesting . He went out to their car and jumped in really easily , I do hope he didn't sing to them on the way home. Tilly gave him the most kisses goodbye but we will all miss him soooo very much . There are so many cats around here and just one door up two very pretty kittens have just arrived so they will all be missing Dave too! Be a good boy and give your new foster mum & dad lots of cuddles and those big roaches with lovely happy groans - then you will be able to get away with anything! Updated to add: Just had a call from Dave! No David to say they have arrived safely with no singing, he's had a good bark in the garden and is now laying at their feet! WTG boy all you have to do now is eat your supper.

Hi All, David (not the dog) posting now. Dave slept well - better than me! Had an hour and fifteen minute walk this morning. He is now sparked out in the office next to me. Still hasn't really eaten much? Nerves? Chappy not his thing? Nanette is picking up something else after work to see if he is just fussy. Very unperturbed by other dogs, mostly ignores them! Just lifted his head up and let it land with a THONK on the floor. Ouch! David

Hi David, he used to like his food wet sometimes or with a little bit of something a bit more tasty in there, any meat or tinned oily fish are his favourite . Glad he slept well, it will take a while for his personality to show itself properly, he must be wondering what's happening but I know he was very happy to be with you straight away . Feels a bit empty here without him. Is everyone ganging up on David re Tully??? (Dave loves other dogs you know!)

If I can get Tully moved to a potential home..... I can bring in the blond bombshell, which Rowan and Co are more than capable of sorting out with Fionn. What a stunning pair they would make.

Success! With a little dab of rice (tip from another friend) Dave ate the lot, Chappie and all. Lunch time bark in the garden now back on his bed. D

I think so.
Lesson learnt though, don't try and take his toy off him in the garden. He is about as tall as me when he stands up!

He will go to take the toy back as part of the game but just say NO firmly and make him sit. He will do (he may ask for it back again) and then you can throw it. He wants you to play throw but the excitement gets the better of him sometimes and he can jump quite high to get it. He also thinks you want to chase him for it, but if I could run as fast as Dave I would be training for the Olympics! :PGlad he has eaten his dinner, it's amazing how far a little bit of bribery will get you!

Do you have one arm or two David??? Give him a hug from me it still seems kinda empty here without him , but it means Tilly is getting extra attention now too.
