Sara has picked up a poor mite, found huddled in a cold shed with another lurcher girlie, who we have also taken on. He is around 2, or could be less. Has had some front teeth knocked out and is so sore and thin. She has a lovely nature and is exhausted. We were contacted by holding kennels who didn't want to send them onto more kennels. Sara, you are a star. Thank you so much for taking him in. All he needs now is a name.

Thanks for giving this poor dog some love, food and a warm bed which he desperately needs. He looks so exhausted and without any hope. He is still so young but he will forget and be a happy little boy. Sleep tight, little boy, and sweet dreams.......... Viviane. X

Poor chap - I've just had to bath him because he's itching to death and stank. He trembled the whole time but didn't make any objection to me scrubbing him all over and plonking him in the bath tub! He's a lovely nature and is a good looking dog too. White tips on all feet, white tip of tail (I think it could be broken but will check out with vet). Took him a long walk with Basil and Kez before doing horses and he liked that - walked well on extended lead, didn't bother much at pheasants or anything going up. At the vets he was perfect and never made a sound when had micro-chip. Got home and sensibly thought I'd leave him in the car whilst I got organised indoors - only forgot I left the window slightly open between tailgate and back seat and he was in the house before I'd even got to the kitchen. I thought that was a good start because it shows he wants to be with us! Was scared about eating his dinner but eventually ate most - he has bashed teeth on lower jaw. Scared from head to foot and his skin is raw and as you can see from the photos he's thin.
First impressions are that he is a super nature - lovely quiet gentle dog that could also be cat friendly if his visit to the vets is anything to go by - he was friendly with all sizes of dogs there and all people.
Their accepting of their situations is amazing.

Bless him - he will be gorgeous. He does look knackered, and he's so thin poor boy
What about Beau? - he will be! One of my favourite racehorses was Beau, he was chestnut with a white nose - I also once knew an Ibicenco hound who looked just like this guy except for his stand-up ears - he was called Beauregard!

Well done Sara for taking in this poor chap so quickly. He certainly needs a lot of warmth, food, and love, and we know he 's in the right place for that. "Beau" may well turn out to be a very appropriate name!

What a traumatic day its been but well worth it to have these sweethearts home safe and sound. Their injuries sound so similar . Our gal's coat is quite thick which masks her skinnyness. Much to both of them.

How is little boy after his first night with you, sarar? I bet he could not believe he spent a night in a warm bed and a tummy filled up with food after a soothing bath given from a caring, loving hand. Viviane. X

NAMES.
How about 'The Lost Boys' from Peter Pan? Here are two of them.
Tootles – Tootles appears in almost all Peter Pan related material. He is described as the most humble of the Lost Boys because of his terrible luck with adventures: as soon as Tootles goes away to complete a chore or some such, bloody battles and thrilling adventures take place. Because of this, he has become accepting of his lot in life, and he is much sweeter for it. Nibs – Nibs is described as happy, joyful and debonair, possibly the bravest Lost Boy. He is chased by wolves in chapter five,
