Lovely updates Rachel. I don't think you will have him for long, he is a beauty! It sounds like you are doing really well with him

Ermmm I wouldn't call him an angel He's running my two ragged! Just finding his feet I think. We've been over the fields twice today but I just can't seem to wear him out.

Then you need to train him with a duster...exercise him and get your jobs done! Ask Dilys - she knows all about rubber gloves!

An hours walk in the forest today- then he went into his crate while Dave and I went shopping. Dylan then did a bit of gardening - had a tooth faerie - and is now asleep again

Dylan is out of the harness as he nows walks quite nicely just on his collar He's learning Stay - but hasn't quite got the hang of it yet. I'm getting quite used to having the kitchen waste bin outside the front door

Sounds like he is being a proper little Lurcher pup Ripley was one of those. They turn out the best dogs in the end.

Lovely, if cold, day today. Dave has today off so we spent the morning in Bernwood Forest with the three dogs. Billy doesn't go far away from us these days (he's 11) - but Dusty and Dylan had a really good exploration. This boy's recall is fantastic (unlike Dusty's). He's been skating on the ice in the brooks and trying to follow Dusty into the undergrowth. When she disappears he looks really lost! Then he lays in wait for her crouched down, so he can jump on her when she returns.
