Dylan was found wandering in Oxfordshire a few weeks back, and the people who found him kept hold of him until his 28 days were up and the Council released him. They would dearly have loved to have kept him, but they have a bolshy Collie girlie who was having none of it and not bonding with him at all, uh uh,no way! So they contacted me and gave me a gruelling over how the Rescue worked and what we would do and how would we make sure that it was a perfect home. A few days later they rang back and said that they would like us to take him on board, but only if the foster home was lovely. And it is...... Introducing Dylan in his lovely foster home, and Rachel's first foster, yes Billywhippet has a foster. ;D The lovely people delivered Dylan today to Rachel, and all was well, so here he is our latest SLR puppy. And what a gorgeous stunner he is. And we promise that he won't go anywhere but the very best home in his world.

He's a little beauty - a bit into everything (as you would expect at his age) but no barking or tantrums. Billy really likes him but Dusty isn't so sure. He's dug up a few spring bulbs and had a chew at a few things but nothing major. He's a big sloppy puppy! Jan and Rob have done a great job with him. I do think that he needs to go to a home with another dog - he loves wandering around the garden with Billy and Dusty. I'll let you know how he gets on overnight.

He went into his crate at 10:30 last night and we didn't hear a peep out of him. Up at 6:45 - toys flying around the room. Will take some outdoor shots of him today - he still does that puppy mouthing - especially on Dave's feet

Have just taken him around the block at school run time. Interested but not phased by kids on bikes, scooters, pushchairs, prams etc. Bit frightened by the traffic. He's not very good on the lead - doesn't pull but weaves in front of you. I'll try a harness next time - on the way back we went into the fields - on the training lead he doesn't wander far from you. He's having a rest so I'll take Billy and Dusty out now!
