Lucky you - your first foster !! He's a beautiful boy, his coat looks lovely !! You sound to be enjoying having him around, despite the odd chewing and lost pork chops !! Look forward to more pics and more news.

Love the ones with the chucks! Is he deciding which one's his next dinner?

He's now been chipped and had his nails clipped. As expected he was a star at the vets. Good boy Dylan (his favourite phrase).

Slept through the night in his crate again. Managed to chew through my laptop adaptor - had to run to Currys to replace it. Manic games in the garden, a walk across the fields (3 minutes away) breakfast - and he's asleep again - bless him!

We went to Bernwood Forest for an hours walk today. He's such a good boy - training his recall to a whistle - it worked very well. He can be a bit unsure of other dogs and had a bit of a scrap with a golden retriever but no harm done. He and Dusty went exploring (Billy has more sense - he stays with us) - he managed to roll in some poo - and just loves water! Wasn't too sure about the horse and rider that passed us - obviously he was on lead then but he growled at the horse.

Sounds like a pleasure to be with! If he loves water at least he will wash himself after poo-rolls!
Happy days! xx

He's a gorgeous boy but deserves a home with a young family, with someone home most of the day - and ideally another young lurcher to play with.
He does sit, down (as in lay down) and we are working on fetch! He's very good off the lead and his recall is excellent. He doesn't walk very well on the lead yet but is better in a harness and a collar with double ended lead. He's a very loving boy - haven't heard him bark, yap or whimper yet! Sleeps overnight in his crate quite happily. Eats nicely with the other two and doesn't try to steal their food.
Whoever takes him on will need to invest in ceramic water bowls - otherwise he picks them up, and he does all bowls, and tips them over. He also tips flowerpots over and then runs around with them in his mouth. He's also a brilliant counter surfer.
Our problem is that Billy is 11 years old and Dylan LOVES him. However Billy doesn't want to play and we're worried that Dylan will pounce on him and do him some damage.

This boy is ace. Dylan met next door's toddler today and was brilliant with him - he's a bit bouncy for very small children but doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body. Haven't managed to cat test him yet. He's still a bit bewildered by traffic and still weaves about on the lead but he doesn't actually pull.

So let's just recap on this beautiful boy.
He's very bidable - knows sit, down (as in lay down) and no! Needs another young dog to live and play with Needs ceramic, or similar, bowls - otherwise he tips them up Needs someone home with him most of the time He has excellent recall Loves children Don't know about cats, but with his loveable nature and very careful introductions I think he would be OK He is very very beautiful - but too much for our 11 year old whippet

Slept well through the night again, had breakfast, ran around the garden and is now asleep by my side. Everyone who has met him thinks he is the most adorable, handsome boy! He wants to say hello to everyone and everything. He is however a bin raider - so our kitchen bin is outside the front door at the moment
