PS I'm very low-maintenance but Jenny you'd undoubtedly get more for SLR funds if you auction Molly! Oh I don't know Audrey, I bet you'd be welcomed into many a home especially if you can cook & clean.... bet Molly can't

Give us a chance! She has only been here 1 week, and goes outside without fail for her "hygiene breaks". She doesn't like the vacuum cleaner (too noisy) but we'll get her started on a dustpan and brush next week. She has already offered to help with the washing up!

How is Molly coming along, Keith? And, how many dishes has she broken during her washing-up lessions - maybe she wants a break from her chores? Viviane. X

OMG would YOU re-home a dog to a woman who looks like that?! Audrey x Looks decidedly shady to me and for some reason reminds me of the lady in the Dilys/paparazzi incident ;D

Audrey came to stay overnight to inspect Molly's progress in below stairs training. As she swept out of the house this afternoon she announced that she would provisionally offer Molly a position as housemaid, provided she came up to the required standard, after another two weeks training. I tugged my forelock and said "Yes Ma'am, I'll see to it".
So it's out with the dusters and sweeping brushes tomorrow, to teach her how things are done 'in the Big House'.

Hummm, bit worried about the 'maid' bit I was sure Audrey mentioned something about nurse's uniform.....or was that Dilys ;D

Well I guess it's almost official now ... ;D ;D Once I've spoken to Jenny tomorrow (don't want to disturb her birthday evening with SLR issues) I must break it to Dilys before she reads about it on the forum. I have to say that the accommodation and attention to detail by the staff at the Training Centre was second to none I must prepare a report for Trip Advisor! I was particularly impressed when Keith's Mollie said "Molly doesn't like you vacuuming in the same room" - I really didn't expect young Molls to be onto vacuuming at this stage in her training. It speaks very well of SLR fostering Poole-style methinks. Very seriously, Keith and Mollie have been absolutely FANTASTIC and have gone much further than the extra mile in helping to ensure that Molly and I have had every opportunity to spend quality time together to see whether the right match was in the making + even beyond that being prepared to get Molly spayed at their vet after the treatment for her elbow is over, so that she is then ready to settle here without the trauma of changing homes and having her operation at an unknown-to-her Vet and to save me the re-trauma of Vets and operations almost a year to the day that Willow was under the knife for very different reasons. Thank you both hugely much for being so incredibly generous and understanding Audrey x

;D ;D ;D ;D I have been waiting with baited breath since Molly came up on needing a home thread....I am over the moon with the news that Molly and Audrey have found each other. I am sure Dilys will take the news well and in fact Molly may help her get her over her "trauma" of being in the MaD house This "unofficial" news has put a big smile on my face, congratulations to you Audrey and to you Molly.
