Molly has arrived safely. She was good as gold travelling in the car. She is very thin under her long hair, and understandably a bit quiet at the moment. We have had a few tailwags, and she is lying down quietly after a good meal, which disappeared very quickly. Will try to post a couple of photos later.

Oh my goodness .... what an absolute beauty! She is so elegant. My word Keith what a lucky chap you are with two lovely Molly's under your roof. Gosh, if she were here I'd struggle to part with her. She's beautiful in every way

It was difficult to get her to pose as she is quite nervous: Notice how she is leaning to the right in order to favour her left front( ignore the fat stomach please) The long fur, uneven where tangles had to be cut out, hides a very bony waif! We'll soon put some flesh on those bones! I've had to carry her upstairs tonight, but I think she'll soon get the hang of it. She certainly knows what the Human bed is for! Nighty night....

She is beautiful and will be even more so once she has put a bit more weight on, she can have some of mine if she likes . Hope all goes well with regards to the shoulder and it can easily be rectified. She is a stunner and I don't think you will be fostering her for long!

Oh yes, Rachelsmeal, if 'podge transfer' was possible she cold have that fat stomach (in the photo) straight away, then she'd look a whole lot better with her bones covered!
Whoever homes her will need to like brushing long hair. When her coat is restored it will be beautifully long and whispy. She even has clumps of hair between her toes, unlike many.

Monty & I had the pleasure of meeting Molly today with Keith and Mollie (the two legged one She is absolutley stunning! but very obviously favouring her left front. Poor skinny little thing. She is 2 inches taller than Monty and 2Kg heavier. Monty is 24 to the shoulder and 20Kg, so they are equally skinny. Monty is now eating for Britian and hopefully under K&M's care she will blossom as Monty is doing. Look forward to seeing her again on Gin walk even if only a short bit. Well done Keith and Mollie, YET AGAIN! Colin.

We had a good first night. It was Caspar who disturbed us at 5.15am, so I took them down to the garden for a pee, then back to bed until 8.10, and she would have lain on if we hadn't got up. Eager for some breakfast, and some racing up and down the garden - just for fun. Happily she is not really limping, but if you look you can see her favouring that leg. She is much more relaxed in the house today: And here's a puzzle for those of you who like to guess on the ancestry of our dogs as they come in - where did she get such hairy feet!? We went to see Uncle Graham this afternoon, and I'm happy to report that he is fairly upbeat about her left elbow. He has started a 4 week course of Cartrophen, which he believes, in conjunction with Matacam and easy walking, will sort her out. He has given us some advice on diet to build her up, and she will be spayed in the next couple of weeks. After that we went for a walk down on Whitecliff, where the lovely Monty was showing off his recall and ball retreival skills. Molly was keen to say hello to all the dogs, even the furballs, and did not seem too interested in eating them, but I reserve judgement for the time being. She was keen to go for a race around, but that must wait a few days! At home she is content to lie on her bed much of the day, but her eyes follow us about. She knows we are not far away, and that seems to be enough. Not bad for 24 hours!

I should imagine, 1/4 collie, 1/4 deerhound and 1/2 grey like our Milo. But Milo didn't get the longer coat. She is very similar though. Angel I would think

I keep coming back to look at her too. If I could have another dog it would look like Molly. She is just beautiful!

Hairy feet. I agree with Jenny & Karla, Poppy was half collie and she had serious interdigital hirsuteness. Or very hairy feet if you prefer! ;D ;D
