Yes, dear (?) little Monty came to stay for a couple of hours this morning. We had naively thought that the presence of two mature hounds would reassure him and help him forget SA. No way! We could calm him down for 5 minutes with treats or cuddles (which have to be shared!): but then he was off again, crying and howling at the back gate or front door. This afternoon Molly had a good walk down on Whitecliff, eager to at least say hello to everydog, but she would dearly love to race around. I know she would forget her sore elbow while running, but that's the trouble, I have to remain firm so it has a chance to heal. She doesn't limp noticeably around the house, but it wouldn't take much for it to flare up.

She'll be there Sally to meet all the folks, and especially Auntie Audrey, but she won't be doing the full walk just yet. See you Sunday.

I would almost guarantee that she's got Collie in her but, I can also see glimpses of Saluki in her and they have very fluffy feet (well the feathered ones do). Are her toes webbed?

Good golly Miss Molly! Is it wrong to have a crush on a dog? Probably But I very much doubt if you're the only one Mark - she is just adorable isn't she?

I agree I thought there was something saluki about her when I first saw her and those feet are uncannily like saluki 'turkish slipper' fluffy feet She's a beauty, that's for sure.

What a dear little cracker. Well done for making the decision to pay. Good luck, dear Molly.

No particular news today. Everything progressing smoothly. She enjoys her food, enjoys her walks, loves meeting other dogs, and I don't think fluffballs are going to be too much of a problem, but the real test will be when she is eventually off-lead. On the subject of parentage, I am increasingly drawn to the Saluki x Collie theory, as she has obviously had some beautiful feathers in her time, before much trimming was necessary to remove matting. Her face is a little less pointy than true Saluki, and echoes the kindly Collie face. Her toes are not particularly webbed.
But I don't really care 'cos she's just beautiful as she is, in spirit and body!

We met the lovely Molly today on the monthly Greyhounds In Need walk and I have to say she is even more beautiful in the flesh . She had such a waggy tail and smiley face, twas a joy to see her so happy ... or maybe the liver cake I was carrying had something to do with that ... Anyway, here's a few piccies of her and the equally lovely Auntie Audrey. I took a few more of the walk so will get around to posting them too ... 1)2)3)Handsome foster-bro Caspar 4)5)6)Isn't she adorable ;D.

She really is a beautiful girl ON HOLD - does that mean she's reserved or that she's not up for rehoming just yet??

I'd say she's on hold until we know how her elbow will heal, and she's served 28 days, and is strong enough for her "op", and we've fattened her up a bit, and most importantly - we're ready to let her go...she is so gorgeous!..................Will that do?

Molly is so gorgeous and the photo with Audrey is lovely. Two stunners. Whoever is chosen to have Molly will be very lucky.
