Ruby now insists on joining the others for a walk around tbe field next to the house. She does around 200 yards and then wants to get back indoors. I pop her back in with a dental chew and the rest of the girls go out for a run round. It must be very fatiguing trying to use just one front leg, but she is determined. Michael caught her counter surfing just now.

She's adorable. She is off to Anil tonight for a check-up on the staples. I wish they hadn't put staples in her. She had a bit of a restless start to the night again as she prefers to lie on the side of the amputated leg, poor mite. The dapple markings on her make her so pretty.

I thought you'd like to see Ruby, or Roo as we like to call her (short for Kangaroo!) having a sulk. She likes to lie in Mim's basket bed in the kitchen but Miss Esme has beaten her to it. She has paced and cried and then eventually given up and taken up a sulking position in the bed in the lounge. She is so funny. A right little baby. But she definitely does a cute sulk. Don't laugh foster mum, I don't think it's funny

Ruby has been put back on A.B.'s. The wound to her side is doing really well, and Anil thinks it will be ready for removing the stitches next Monday. The A.B.'s are for the open wound on her toe which is taking forever to heal. She is certainly a little fighter. She jumped up into the boot of the car all by herself and back out again She weighed in at just 14.8 kilos, so some body building is going on for a while yet.

She is certainly a little fighter. She jumped up into the boot of the car all by herself and back out again Blimey, I do admire her being able to do that and she has only just had her op, still getting used to being a tripod. She is obviously in true star style just getting on with it and it not hindering her. What a clever and determined girly .

She had an unsettled night last night, because she will insist on lying on her staples. Michael moved her onto the other side twice in the night. Ruby looks to be house trained now So nice when I am not cleaning up poo and pee ;D

glad to gear the vet is pleased with her progress and hope the stitches can come out as planned and Ruby will then have better nights. Hope her toe wound will start to heal aswell. She just amazes us at how strong spirited and determined she is! hope she continues to do well and sleeps more comfortably at night
