Lovely lovely Twiggy is only a baby. Just about 14 months old, and as you can see she has been through so much in her short little life. Found starved, with open wounds and so so scared, Hannah at Cottage rescue took her in. She has been the subject of a cruelty case, Hannah is a champion of the cause, and Twiggy is now well on the road to recovery in just a few short weeks. Hannah, you must be so proud of her.Twiggy is child friendly, not sure about cats, and is other dog friendly, although she is still bolting any food down and likes to get to everybody elses bowl if hers is empty. She is a little timid or arms moving fast and will still hit the deck with a loud noise, fast movement of hands or a shout, so needs a lot of tlc. Another dog around would be lovely, but not necessary. Loving care and FOREVER is more important. Twiggy will be coming over with little Ronnie next week. So... if you think you can offer Twiggy a good forever home with someone around most of the time, spoil her rotten, love her and convince us you are the best thing ever for her please apply. No apologies for these photos of a sad Twiggy on her arrival at Cottage Rescue. The leg wound The shoulder wound And with loving care and only five weeks later She is only a little one, around 24 inches at the shoulder. But just how beautiful is that.

OMG...I wonder if she would like to be my first foster dog and see if the girls would like her and then I could join the ranks of failed fosterers!!
