Bless his little heart, King Arthur slept all night in his bed without a murmur or a twitch. It seems everyone who has met him so far says the same thing, but I'll say it again.... This young chap is gentle, sweet, undemanding and smart. He will make a wonderful addition to a family as long as that family are into cuddles, tickles, tummy and ear rubs and nose kisses. This is all he asks for other than food ,water and warmth. He would be a good pack dog as he understands every look, grumble and wag from this lot and doesnt challenge . He's not mega-submissive....he just uses his brains and finds another way in Every inch a stunning little man. And I mean little....I just measured him neck to tail for a sweater and he's only 21" ..... almost pocket sized!! So we're off shortly to empty 2 of his pockets .... and after that lets hope King Arthur's life becomes stable and secure. He's done his fair share of travelling

Ive just heard that Arthur's op went as planned and he is coming round.
I'm just making up a little den in his crate and warming his sweater (borrowed from Laylah) on the radiator.
No superwoman, I assure you....just a humble Kings' Mother ready to serve Their Highnessess xx

glad to hear Arthur has come round well from his op 8-)hope he rests easy once he gets back home with you , sounds like he will be able to bed down and snuggle up tonight, hope he recovers well honestly, you are a true SLR star Jane for looking after 4 dogs at once , very admirable and well worth a pat on the back or four! which you can give to the dogs instead!

I passed all your love onto the little darling - and WHAT a darling.....its impossible not to fall head over heels with Arthur.. He was zonked when I got to the vet, had to be pulled out of the crate so I could dress him in his laylah-fleece and pick him up. He was totally floppy, head hanging, (so I was pretty sure he wouldnt be "lurchery" Jenny! ) We got him in the car and wrapped him up and I went back to get his painkillers. By the time I got back to the car the little....darling....was standing up looking for me !! Soon crashed out again though! His 3 foster brothers were pleased to see the little King, sniffing him gently as he wobbled outside his cosy den. He got straight out when I put him in and followed the others around slowly. After kitchen sniffing, he tucked in to a small portion of very wet coley fillet and a few biscuits, slurping all the fishy water thirstily.....mmmm....a meal fit for a King !?! Yuck ! And he would only eat it if I knelt next to him and held the bowl (or was I being a sucker!!) Anyhow, he stood and wobbled outside his crate for a few minutes in a daze until I nudged him inside and now he's flaked out again under a couple of my fleecy sweater. Im sure he'll sleep well but I may bed downstairs with him just to check....his ears and paws are still quite cold despite covers and heating. Right - time to cuddle the others...oh dear - squeaking from the crate...
