The gorgeous 'little numb nuts' is going to live up to his nickname today Aunty Alyson will be taking an x-ray of his leg and relieving him of some unecessary appendages So your good thoughts for him would be very much appreciated

Have just had the phone call from Aunty Alyson to say Skip is round from his op' and I can collect him after 3.00pm She said his leg is 'excellent' and his neutering was very straight forward although she did add 'Gosh, they were small' Well it would be greedy of him to have beauty, brains and balls now wouldn't it? A full update later of course.

Well the boy's home and remarkably bright eyed Tucking into his second bowl of chicken and rice This was the first x-ray taken back in October Then after the break had been pinned And today showing the bone fully knitted together Tomorrow we start 2 x 1hr walks per day to build up his stamina and muscle tone even further and to drain off some of his excess energy ready for him to go off lead in about 10 days time We're also very confident that he is only about 8months old now as one of the bits he had removed today only dropped sometime during the last fortnight

Great to see how well his bones have knitted together and how well Skippy is doing now. A young puppy his age naturally wants to run and play all day long but of course with his injury he was not allowed. You have all been so very patient (including Skippy!) and it has paid off in the end. So well done you all! Viviane. X
