Izzie came into us yesterday via a dog pound. We are not best pleased as the intermediate Rescue that took her in didn't mention that the poor wee lass had a temperature and respiratory infection. Helen kindly picked her up and it was evident from Helen within the hour that she was poorly. Mucus, snot, was coming from her nose. Little Izzie was sorely poorly. Michael met Helen halfway up the motorway and delivered some A.B.'s for the night and Helen got her to the vets. Poor little mite, has a temperament to die for and is rallying round. I will leave Helen to update you with more info and some piccies. Thank dog little Ralph had gone. SLR will be paying any bets bill if poor Tarka and Aoife come down with anything. Thank heaven Helen got her.

What a shame so called 'rescues' do not actually seem to care. What was going to happen if SLR and Helen had not stepped in?
Hope the ABs work quickly little Izzie - you must be feeling very unsettled and poorly.
Have a good night Helen ( I hope!)

Good morning!
Little Izzie is doing well. She's very coughie and sneezie this morning, which although sounds bad, at least it's shifting off her chest.
She has given us a few scares the past couple of days I can tell you. She was really gasping for breath on Sunday night, and Moday morning she was so poorly going to the vets. Mrs vet just said 'we'll do all we can' and I knew then it was bad.
Her temp has gone right down and she's even just had a little play bow at Aoife.
She is no older than 7 months bless her and such a beauty.
She is spotless in the house, even with bing so poorly, she knows 'sit' 'paw' and 'other paw' and I can already see she's very bright.
I cant say about C.A.T.s at the mo because to be honest she's not really interested in anything. But will update when I know.
I'l take some photos today and pop them on. Ones where she doesn't look so poorly, bless her.

Here's a couple of piccies. They're not great I'm afraid, but she says she doesn't really feel like the super model she actually is at the moment. I'm sure you'll all forgive her PAW

She is perfecting at a I type as I've just eaten a raspberry turnover and not givn her any! Evil foster Mummy. Yep her muscles are HUGE to the extent of she's been growing muscles rather than growing, she's still got a lot more growing to do. Her paws are gigantic, but she's very delcate with them. A real little lady

Well we had a meeting with stunt C.A.T this morning, and nothing, she just looked and looked away. She's deffinately more alert now, so I think I can say there's something to work there with, at least. Good girl. Treacle C.A.T will soon whip her into shape. She's again getting better today, she was coughing all night, but it seems to have cleared her chest a lot more. She's extremely loving and has asked for cuddles a couple of times today, which is really lovely. She's so unsure of everything, and seems to be asking permission to even breathe at the moment. If things get even slightly excitable here, (Tarks) then she runs to the nearest bed, or the back door. doG only knows what she's been through in her short little life, but she'll get there. I think she'd like a home with another older, steadier dog, but most importanly somewhere quiet and relaxed, not a hecic hussle and bustle home. It just blows her brain and she shuts down. Will get more piccies soon, she looks so much better today ;D
