Barney was this post meant for another thread? Nope, 'twas just me having (yet another!) senior moment - I've duly corrected my earlier post.

Hugs and kisses passed on. There is no way Ollie is leaving this forever home, however if there are any takers for a 45 year old man with MAN FLU then please PM me

Ollie had his first off lead walk/run today since the attack! He was amazing and walked by my side and then I had a run with him but he has lost so much muscle he could run for long. Sammy was running flat out around us and barking if to say chase me Ollie Our lad is getting there and we can now work on his fitness. As for his tummy, he is doing loads better and not to be too graphic is starting to produce solid'ish poo's ;D I will video the next off lead run and post for you all to see how the big lad is doing. Gilly x x

Hi Keith Having great fun with Luca, he's gorgeous. He's now 19 weeks & the hard work house training is all behind us. He is all black with a white blaze on his chest (the kids call him little Ollie) Mac loves him as he missed Ollie alot. Will be sorting out piccie's over the next couple of days !

Hi Gilly, Poor Ollie he seems to have a vet addiction ! It's lovely to hear you do Reiki, Ollie was having reiki while with us, he loved it & always lay even more vertical than usual. Hope his tummy infection is getting better & that you chaps haven't caught anything. Love to Ollie x

He's still a good boy Keith and does sleep in his own bed all night, but he does love the sofa at evenings He is a daddy's boy, well saying that he is a Mummy's boy for dinner, walks and first and last cuddles of the day We fitted a bigger dog flap in the back door today and Ollie and Sammy are using it already, clever boys x

Hi all, Ollie is doing really well and is coming on leaps and bounds. His lead walking is perfect with no pulling and off lead he either walks along side us or goes off for a sniff, his recall could do with some further work but if I turn my back to him and go to walk off he soon comes running back to me ;D Today we went to meet Viviane and Little Elmer at their home. Joy, friends and Joy's dogs Bonnie and Sam came along and we had the most wonderful time All the dogs played so well and it was clear to see that Ollie still have some recovery to do with his fitness as he couldn't keep up with the energy of the others , but never mind he is growing stronger every day Here are some pic's from our day, there will be loads posted on the Walkies section.

Thanks for coming over with Ollie today, Gilly, to join us for our first walk down here in the south. I was very much looking forward to meeting your lovely boy Ollie - and he really is a smashing hound. We all had a wonderful time, NEARLY all dogs were well tired and had so much fun chasing each other.......... ;D Well I said NEARLY all dogs were well tired........... EXCEPT our little hound Elmer, the smallest one, he just could not get enough!! ;D Well, I am pleased to say he has finally gone to sleep while I am writing this - Me thinks: I just wish I had a little bit more of Elmer's energy... Viviane. X

Glad Little Elmer has got over his Lurcher play day. Ollie's tummy has settles and I think I have finally got to the bottom of his runny botty problem, he gets car sickness, and instead of coming out of that end it comes out of the other ! I am going to get a herbal remedy to help him through it. We are so looking forward to the next walk and I really hope that Kate, Indy and Max can come along x

So glad, Gilly, you finally got to the bottom of Ollie's run problem - car sickness! Would never have thought of that. But now you know what you can do about it and I hope the herbal remedy will sort this out for him, bless. I think we are all looking forward to our next walk, Gilly. You have been so kind and posted lots of piccies on the forum which must have wettet peeps' appetite. Will post a reminder a bit nearer the time, okay. Give Ollie a hug from us, please. Viviane. X

Hi all, Sorry I've not been around for a few days, work is very busy this time of year and time I've got in, walked the dogs etc it's time for bed Ollie is doing fantastic, he has settled in so well and is totally one of the pack. He loves Roxy so must and where there's one there's the other, and they have even started to sleep together in a bed made for one With the news on Mikey I am going to have some cuddle time with my four dogs, it's so upsetting and our hearts and love are with Jenny and Barney. Love Gilly (Olliesmum)
