She is doing wonderfully well Jean. Reva has just done her first homecheck for us too
Here's today's update.......
Our little Gem scared Mum today, it seems she got 'attacked' by some pot plants and got scared hiding in the corner. Mum was worried because the wouldn't move out of the corner even for treats and seemed to be shaking, Mum was worried she was ill, I think after losing Daisy so suddenly she's worrying way too much but better like that. She said earlier she can't believe how much she loves her after only 3 weeks....and I think Gem adores her too! Gem's fine now and after we got back from the home check she was so excited she didn't know what to do with herself. She's such a little darling you just want her with you all the time and not to knock Daisy in anyway but we've both been amazed at how wonderful she's been and it must be scary to move to a new home after being with John and Viv for so long. We're sure it's because she's not been in kennels but in a loving home during her wait. Mum's so proud of her little sweetie and is telling anyone that'll listen how wonderful all the folks at SLR are.
We had a chat about having a walk down the beach in October and how about the first weekend, I've got to confirm with Mum there aren't any high holy days and I've got to check the tide times but I think all the dogs will love it.
I'll try and get some more photos of Gem over the weekend and send them through to you both. Can you send me John and Viv's email address or can you forward them through?
A dog is a gift in life. Love and protect it. _________________
