so so happy for you jean, and congrats to both you and belle. she is such a lovely looking girlie, and i can see how you couldn't resist her, and as she has settled so well, i am sure she would have been devastated to have had to move on. wishing you both many many happy years together

Just a little update on Belle. Has met lots of dogs on our regular dog walk she has been fine, hope to be able to let her off lead next week all being well. Try to find a safe area, is anywhere safe with lurcher's! Met my Grandson from school with her today, what a good little girlie, I think every child that come from the school must have patted her on the head she was well pleased with all the attention. she is such a lovely natured dog. I am lucky to have her I hope she feels the same way. She still sleeps on the bed with me so I hope she does.

She does ;D She's a grown up and they don't show too much emotion. But I bet it creeps up on her suddenly and you will find her sleeping nearer and nearer to you. ;D

Had visitors for the weekend one daughter had a 40th birthday party so had another daughter and O.H. and four year old grandson stay for the weekend, as they come down from up north well Stamford at least. First house guest I have had since lovely Belle arrived. Result was we all had a lovely weekend, my little grandson was terrified of poor little Gypsy when I first got her, things got slightly better but he was just terrified of all dogs. And as lovely as Gypsy was she was a bit full on with the kids sometimes, so that did not help. Well what a difference with dear calm Belle will post some pics to let you see happy endings all round, he even give her a good buy what a result.
