Many thanks for the update & the lovely pics Jean.
Belle certainly looks to have landed on her paws - not being spoilt by any chance? ;D ;D ;D
Edited to add an old Irish blessing:
May love and laughter light your days, and warm your heart and home. May good and faithful friends be yours, wherever you may roam. May peace and plenty bless your world with joy that long endures. May all life's passing seasons bring the best to you and yours!

Thank you all for your nice comments and good wishes. Had a visit to my vet with Belle this morning. To get her vax and a health check. Everyone loved her in there she was so well behaved even with other cats and dogs there. We even meet another lurcher that we know. All is well with her as far as the vet can see no sign of any heart problems. The only thing I was concerned about that as Barney nicely put it she has a bit of a gait when she walks, The vet checked her hips and legs and all was well. The only thing she could not tell if she had been spayed, but guessing as she had not been chipped, more than likely no one had bothered to get her spayed. The next question was she pregnant, she examined her and said it all felt pretty empty in there. So we wont be getting pups as well! The only thing they are unsure about is her age, they can only go by the teeth and the amount of tarter on them, so she had a guess at any where between one and three yrs. At the end of the day she is just a young dog, and we will do our best to give her a happy future.

Lovely Jean. Forgot to mention that Barney and I noticed that if you moved your arm up she flinched. Poor mite, and she is just so happy to please and didn't stop wagging the whole she was here. If you go into photobucket and click on your above photos Jean, you will get an option above them to resize. Click on that option and then you can resize to website size They are gorgeous photos by the way. Hope she enjoys her vets visit for her jabs and checkup. Happy fostering. ;D Oops. Missed all the lovely posts so far... lovely, just lovely.... ;D

Laurie at the moment its just a foster, but I think everyone has the best intentions that I will be a failed foster just watch this space. I can see Jenny laughing when she reads this. She is a darling totally different to my little dog I have just lost but maybe thats not a bad thing. We are both a bit lost at the moment so we can take comfort from each other.

Just an update on Miss Belle she is still being an angel, I hope there are some naughty bits in there somewhere. Clean in the house such a quiet little dog you would not know she was here. Just seems a little bit sad sometimes. Tends to spend a lot of time on my bed she likes her own company. She loves a fuss, so I don't know if its just that she has not been allowed to socialize with people. Its all early days yet. Was approached by two men in a car when I was out with her wanted to know what sort of dog she was and did I want to sell her. You can guess what type of people the were, Next time I walk her I am not going to use her I Want A Home Lead it was scary. These lovely dogs just attract the wrong sort of people. I held on to her so tight if they wanted the dog they would have to taken me as well. Lucky my daughter was parked just up the road waiting for my Grandson from school. So I run back to her car and shoved her in the back. I am sure I am overreacting but its never happened to me before. We are home now happy and safe. I think after losing my other little dog I am paranoid about things. Stall we had a nice uneventful walk in the this morning
