Well done - he looks like he has worked out that life can be good. Have you got an 'I need a home' jacket, Sue? I found it really helped in both starting the conversation about rescue with anyone I met out and about with my fosters and also could help if he is nervous and prevent them approaching him too full on. If you need one Sue, we have them here. x

Yes please Jenny it would be handy. A couple were very interested in him this morning, but their greyhound is quite elderly and he would be too much for her unfortunately.

Here he is on his third visit to my daughter's house, much more relaxed, note the elegantly crossed paws!

The I Need a Home Vest arrived, thankyou Jenny.
Dave has been dropping the lead for a few minutes every walk, and today we let him off for a good run around with Ellie in a large grassed area, canal on one side. There were no roads near, and hardly anyone around. He came back well, but then got a bit over- confident and took a little toooo long to come back, so zoomies over til another day. He did go up to a group of collies to say hello, and came back nicely. He continues to improve when walking past people too, but still reluctant to walk into the tea room - a bit of gentle pulling gets him in, but he's not really relaxed, however it's a huge improvement on a few weeks ago.
Fur still growing, think he's going to be stunning!

He is totally lovely! Don't suppose you have seen him with cats? Suspect he's a chaser... Haven't seen him with cats I'm afraid Philippa, so I really don't know. He played with a small furry dog this morning, I was wondering how he'd be with little dogs, but he was fine ( Dave let him off, not me!). He's learning " leave it" quite well, and a sharp "ah-ah" works too. He's not pestering Ellie so much and will leave her alone when told. Very good at our daughters today, he didn't react to our son when he came in, Monty's never seen him before, he was wary but ok. Walks quite nicely on the lead with a harness on. So he's learning fast and I'm really pleased with him, he's a lovely boy, very affectionate.

Ellie won't play with him, won't share a bed or sofa with him, but will use his bum as a pillow!
