Thank you so much for all of your help. I said my goodbye last night with big hot tears in my eyes! I cannot wait to see her 'after' photos. However my cats can't wait to go and sun themselves in the garden again. So happy that she had a warm night inside last night, possibly for the first time ever. Jo xx

Well what a difference. Dropped her off at 12.00 and picked her up at 2.45, nearly 2.45 hours. I popped my head in towards the end of see how she was coping and she was a star. Not a lot of her left now, but she is so happy to be fully able to move all her parts. Her bum is a bit sore, but that will be fine by tomorrow. Those girls at Mutterly Gorgeous groomers worked so hard on her. She looks like such a different dog. Sorry Jo, I know you tried hard to save the coat, but it just had to all come off. Here are your After photos Jo. She will sleep well tonight being able to stretch out. At the groomers on collection A bit of a sore bot In the garden Are you pointing that at me again? Go on then. I am beautiful Wow, who is that beautiful dog in the window there.... oh yes, it's me. Okay, any more shots and I have to charge. She is booked in for Vet check tomorrow afternoon at Great Ashby Vets.

Oh my goodness I'm blubbing again..... What i'd do to hug that girl. She looks amazing and our intention was to give her a drastic short back and sides so great minds..... . I got used to the dirty doggy smell but I bet she smells lush now.
What a transformation! I'm so pleased we was introduced to Southern Lurcher Rescue. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

She looks so cute with that hair cut. So pleased to hear that there could be a new home already. She certainly doesn't appear to be phased by all the disruption but it will still be good if she can go to a new home soon. Well done Jo for helping rescue her and all those involved in the transport run, and to Jenny for taking her in.

Another brilliant night. She could have come upstairs if she wanted, but chose a fleece bed under the stairs. She has explored upstairs so isn't phased by stairs. She was so keen to eat this morning, nearly knocked her bowl out of my hand. She doesn't hoover up the food, but does eat fast. She is just the right weight in my mind. But will get her weighed again and asked the Vet how old they think she is. My first time to this Vet, so hoping to find it a good one for my own pack. It is also a Vet Hospital, so 24 hour call is inhouse, which I prefer. She had a great walk this morning, on an extended lead as she isn't manic. But when the ball came towards her she almost took my shoulder out running to the end of the lead.. But generally good, just pulling to the end of the lead. She has manner, and politely said hello to a 6 month puppy Whippet this morning, wagging (and she can give whip-lash with that new tail piece). She barked at Annie when she was doing fly-bys, but just the one bark. Copybook has been blotted - she has just gone down the bin to find Mollie's remains of her bacon sandwich this morning. No doubt Tag has taught her that! Bella now answers to her name. Prefers to lay in the hallway, in front of the porch door so that she can see all that is going on. She has found Mim's little bed a tad too small! It's a bit too cosy small in the lounge!
