Great news but a sad time for you. It doesn't get easier to let them go but she'll be happy and much loved. Well done for helping her on her journey to a forever home

Thank you for looking after the adorable Judy and helping her on her way. I know you'll miss her funny character but Snoopy will be able to relax more.

Well done Carmel. Judy has a lovely new home. Sue's daughter emailed today to say that she is an absolute poppet. x

I've had a lovely chat with Sue this week, she says Judy is settling well!!!! This morning in the post I got this lovely letter:
"SnailMail" from Judy, Episode One (with some help from Sue).
18 - 10 - 2015 The Start of the "Tail"
We left Carmel and the posse, wondering where I was going and would I like Seaford? I was sick quite soon afer leaving Harlow but soon arrived at Biggin Hill. Here I met Zac the greyhound that Juliet and Lenny rescued, we got on well after a bit of circling and sniffing, as you do. The journey to Seaford was uneventful, I wasn't sick at all. Did a recce around the house, had a go on my inhaler, watched "Strictly Come Dancing", slept on the sofa then set off to bed in the big bedroom and slept all night, so far so good!
19 - 10 - 2015
Monday morning and I went for an explore in the garden. Some interesting scents out there - fox, squirrel, birds. Spotted the squirrel on the bird-table through the glass - we had a stare-out and I won! Then off in the car to the seafront, met a lot of other dogs, all seemed friendly. Had my breakfast when we got home. Had a long walk in the afternoon across the big field, met McCoy, a lovely grey greyhound, one of the locals. It is all going well. Michael and Sue seem very pleased with me. It is very relaxed here and so far so good.
20 - 10 - 2015
As it was a very beautiful morning we all set off to the big field next to the beach. I had a run off lead. I heard Sue and Michael say that my recall was good, whatever that means? A bit more squirrel watching, a long sleep on the sofa and then a long afternoon walk in the big field where the scents were good - badger, fox, rabbit. I spotted some but didn't chase them (rabbits, that is....) I am eating well, had a few treats and used my inhaler.
21 - 10 - 2015
Slept well in the big bedroom, which I have decided to keep to. I haven't got on the bed yet, still on best behaviour! Today is wet, pouring with rain, so it was a wet walk this morning but I showed off my ball skills chasing the tennis ball and bringing it back. This impressed Sue and Michael. they think I am very clever and have nicknamed me Dame Judy, whoever she is? The postman has just knocked on the front door and I barked. It made the postman jump, it made Sue jump, I will be an excellent guard-dog. another feather in my cap!
I hope you can read Sue's writing. I will keep in touch. I haven't met Asterix, next door's dog yet, the bilingual Yorkie! I hope we will become good friends.
Bye for now. Love, Judy X

Wow Judy, you sound very happy in your new home. What a wonderful update. You must keep being a good girl (which i know you will) and give Sue and Micheal lots of sloppy kisses for giving you such a lovely bedroom.
