Another little angel. Greeted me beautfully at the kennels, gave me the full electric banana treatment. Travelled great in the car. A little bit timid at first, she soon comes out of her shell and, when she does, she's a very playful and affectionate Flookie. Aly's checked her over and her mastitis has all cleared up so I shall be arranging to get her down to Ann (Fredabee) as soon as I can.

I wish Christina. I handed her over to Phillippa very reluctantly and surprised myself by bursting into tears on the way home. She is one very special little doglet and, if money was no object, she would not have gone anywhere. Taken on todays walk, just before she went off with Phillippa.

She's very sweet - reluctant to leave Donna but once she on the road, she travelled beautifully.
Donna and I were agreeing that although she is submissive, it doesn't seem to be through lack of confidence. Its almost as though she has nothing to prove. Completely unfazed by my big brute, Zephyr.
Anyway, I hope she settles into her foster home quickly and finds her forever place very soon.

Well, I hardly know what to say having read all the above.. I promise to look after her Donna! Thanks so much to Phillipa for the transport - we took a while to get back in slow traffic due an accident, so she was getting a bit restless by the time we arrived home. So.. Esther.. (afraid I just can't call her Flake!).. has had a walk, met a couple of friends (she wanted to follow every dog she met!) explored the garden, eaten all her chicken & rice supper & is now resting on a sofa.. She is very sweet & gentle & I can feel a pair of liquid brown eyes fixed on me as I type I will try to take some pics tomorrow...

So glad Esther is safely home with you now.
I'm sure she'll soon blossom in your loving care.
Esther is such a graceful name, just right!

Thanks for all the positive comments folks! We had a quiet night - she settled & slept in the crate overnight as I suspected she might be a little adventurous if left to her own devices! She has been a constant shadow, but is now beginning to relax a bit & sometimes after checking up on me, will go back to where she was! We walked with a lurcher friend this afternoon & she was very happy in his company. She seems pretty calm with traffic & other everyday noises, greets other people & dogs well & did not try to investigate the chickens we passed. Not yet seen a cat.. taking the air in the garden the elegantly regal Queen Esther has a touch of 'norty ear'...!
