Archie has had to come into rescue through no fault of his or his owners. Due sadly to personal reasons and a broken leg his mum has had to find him a new home. I hope you get well soon Julie, and thank you for entrusting him to us. We will find him the best possible home. Archie has been well looked after and loved. He is 15 months old, a lovely happy free spirit and very very friendly... ;D About 25 inches at the shoulder and a lovely bundle of fun. That should keep Uncle Barney out of trouble As Barney and I are both experiencing internet problems please can you phone as well as email us. He is being fostered with Barney. He doesn't stop wagging and wants to play and play. Sausages kept him still long enough to get these photos. ;D Archie has a vet appointment this morning for a booster vaccination and check-up and will be booked in for neutering shortly. (How dare our vet have a week in Corfu!!)

He is beautiful AND cat friendly.... I'd better be quick looking OH is out at the moment ;D
Funnily enough Jessica, only this morning, asked "how many more could we fit on the quilt" ? and I said at least 2, but I think I would be pushing my luck. lol

right then, logged in as me now no no no no no !!!! Well maybe, he is rather gorgeous, but don't tell Lesley I said that I have to agree that Archie is indeed gorgeous, but we can't confirm that he's cat friendly, we only know that thus far he's been cat tolerant with the feline that shared his home.
What we can confirm, though, is that he travels well, (on the way home from Hampshire yesterday he decided to occupy the front passenger seat to ensure that my navigation was up to scratch ;D ). He's a very affectionate & happy lad with an impressive tail wag. He's excellent on lead, takes treats very gently, patiently waiting his turn, & shows no sign of food aggression, or indeed any other form of aggression. He's getting on well with my three & t'other two fosters.
He has marked two or three times, which is only to be expected with a young hound in new surroundings, but he was clean throughout the night.
Archie received a clean bill of health at the vets this morning, when he weighed in at 24.1 Kg, had his first vax & was microchipped.
He's booked in for neutering a week on Tuesday, which may please the resident four bitches, since he's been a tad 'attentive' towards them.
Archie is in fact an all round lovely chap.

He looks a lovely hound and its nice you know so much about his background, it must help when trying to re home. I keep looking for company for Belle but my daughter has more sense than me and keeps my feet on the ground, she is right I need to get the SA issue sorted out with Belle and get my house sorted before I do anything else.

What you need Barney is a stunt cat ;D I can think of a few things I need more than that Ian, bearing in mind that my home-kennel is currently occupied by one possibly cat-friendly hound, & five who are not quite, how shall I put it? as well-disposed to those of the feline persuasion! ;D ;D ;D
