Poor Uncle Barnacles is still without internet, but I'm not.... so..... it gives me great pleasure to say that Archie has left the building to go and live with Judy and Norman and lovely little Alice. He was going to go after his op next week, but as Judy lives so close by it was decided that Alice could do not longer without a playmate, so Archie will be going for his neutering op straight from home and back to home... as it should be. All the best to you all, and Uncle Barney says that he has lots of photos to put on a montage when he finally gets back on line. ;D ;D

Here are a few pics to keep you going. Sure Barney's will be better He has been a very well behaved young lad. He has met the cat who instantly disappeared up a tree. He was very interested but after a firm "no", carried on exploring his new home. We are going to pop the cat in his carrier (when he turns up!!) so Archie can meet him properly. Fingers crossed. About 15 minutes after Barney left Archie decides to check out the sleeping arrangements... Then he tries out the floor in the lean-to... But decides the first option is best... Alice is exhausted with all the excitement Handsome boy

Delighted to hear that the little Alice has got a new playmate, they make a lovely pair together. I just love little Alice she reminders me so much of my little Gypsy , Its nice to have found company for her, after the loss of Frank, good for you. Lets see some more photos soon.

Lovely montage Barney. I am so pleased or Alice as she so desperately missed Frank. She is a little girlie to die for and I know Archie will be loved forever with Judy.

They certainly are having fun Jules. My God! I thought Alice was fast!! They tear round the garden together at 90 miles an hour combined with plenty of play fighting. It's a joy to watch. He has met the cat a couple of times again. Once with the baby gate between them and once with George safely in his box and Archie is inquisitive but no signs of aggression. We are just taking it very slowly. Took them both out this morning and the boy behaved beautifully - even when another dog grumbled at him. He was a bit keen to play with all the others but soon settled down to walk by my side. He had a good first night here, once he decided where the most comfy spot was! No accidents! Will post more pics later. Yours were lovely Barney.

No accidents! Will post more pics later. Yours were lovely Barney. Thanks Judy - of course it helps having such marvellous subjects!
I'm delighted that the lad's already settling in so well & that Alice clearly approves of him - 'tis no less than I expected, since he possesses such a lovely nature.

I'll keep it Jazz, although as Jenny said the other day, she kept wanting to call him Alfie. Same here and funnily enough the neighbour I walk with in the mornings kept calling him Alfie but I don't want to confuse the poor boy so Archie it is!
