It baffles me too why no-one is inteested in this beautiful lady. Such wonderflu eyes and those ears are just like a pondencos - if I were rich and had loads of space I snap her up in a jiffy. Hope her forever home comes soon xxxx

Whilst little Saffie usually comes when I call her when she runs round the paddocks at home I have never let her off the lead when we are out on a walk.
The main reason for this is because I always walk her with Pinky and there is absolutely no way I could let Pinky off the lead - so we have always kept them both on the lead. I then walk the other dogs separately, off lead.
Today I decided it was time I let her go. We took Billy (good recall), Fiver (no recall as she is deaf but would never run off), Pinky on the lead and Saffie.
We walked a short way in the opposite direction to the road and let them go. Saffie was excellent, and came back when I called her, not always straight away but I was never worried that she would not come back. Of course the big bribe was a treat every time she came back to me.
So Saffie now ticks another box.

We had a disappointment this week. We thought we had found the perfect home for Saffie, but unfortunately the lady changed her mind. Nothing to do with Saffie, just that although she loved Saffie she realised she just could not cope with an extra dog.
So little gorgeous, cuddly, loving girly Saffie is still looking for a forever home. She is blossoming and I know I have said it many times before, but is a fantastic little dog. I will put some up todate photos on over the weekend.

What a shame for little Saffie but it will makes no odds to her as I am sure she is very happy with you Elaine. But it would be lovely for her to get her own forever home she looks such a darling. Her time will come.

I think she is a beauty , and I love the ears too ;D Jazz has quite big ears that go all over the place depending on what you are saying, ie upright for 'Walkies', the weather- one forward one backwards for rain' and when she is playing depending on her mood! And she's not too big either, Saffie sounds like a perfect hound to me.

More photos of beautiful Saffie. She can't resist going down the bags when I get back from shopping! Saffie loves to be warm either in the sun or close the the log burner or snuggled on your lap I have tried very hard to get some action shots but this was the best out of nearly 20 tries Relaxing after a run round the garden Her eyes are actually a beautiful shade of blue, but unfortunately usually appear red in the photos, not very flattering I know. Saffie would like a new forever home where she will be given lots of cuddles and kisses. I am not sure, but unless she was to be a constant companion ie always with her new owner, I do not think she would like to live on her own as she enjoys other dogs company so much. She loves to play and chase. She has absolutely no aggression at all towards dogs, children of adults. She does give as good as she gets though when playing with other dogs, but never full on aggression. To know her is to love her.

I can't understand it either. No one has been to meet her at all. It may be because of her blue eyes and white eyelashes, which do look a little strange at first, but after that you forget about what colour her eyes are and just enjoy her beautiful, loving temperament.

I am absolutely shocked that this stunning little girl is still waiting for a forever home. She is one of the most beautiful girlies I have seen for a long time and I must admit I didnt expect her to still be available

Saffie and I visited Judy, Norman and their two beautiful lurchers yesterday, in order to introduce her to the family as in a week or so Judy has very kindly agreed to look after Saffie while we are on a 4 day break. They all got on very well and I don't think there will be any problems apart from maybe the huge goose who lives next door. I don't think Saffie could quite work out whether it was friend of foe - she will learn! Saffie was a very good girl and eventually settled on the settee - hopefully all will go well. A few photos of Saffie in the frost earlier in the week and snoozing in the sunshine this afternoon.

She is such beauty in every way I am sure don't know why she is still with you. There must be someone one out there that wants this delightful little girl :-*Have a nice few days way Elaine and I am sure Saffie will love her time with Archie and Alice.
