Molly is coming in on Friday and going into foster with Richard and Nichola in Essex. She is just a youngster, handed in to a Vets, but taken straight away by Gill. She's around 10 months old now. Not a very big girlie, some deerhound in there.
She's lively and her owners found her too much for them.
Gorgeous or what?
This is what her Irish Rescue has to say about her. She is coming from a wonderful Rescue C.A.L.L. who are sponsoring us to neuter her and have vaccinated her and are paying transport costs to get her to safety.
...............................................
She is estimated 9/10 months old. Molly is a small, pretty, lurcher girl. She is an absolute honey of a dog.
When she came to us first she was very timid and very thin, but within a few days her little personality
blossomed and so did her waistline !
Her background is virtually unknown except that a person, presumably her owner, literally threw her into
a vet practice and said to take her, or he would do damage to her. So the poor dog was very scared.
Molly loves to cuddle in to you , to play with other dogs - she has been playing at the kennels we use
with 2 other dogs - we haven't mixed her with female dogs. She is good travelling in the car & walks on the
lead. Her housetraining may need some further work - but she will learn very quickly.
Molly is young, really still a pup and she will need guidance in her new home. Initially she may be a wee bit
shy with new people. We have no idea how she is around children, or cats.
As she has been in a kennel environment for 3 weeks there has been no way to test her recall so extra caution in that area and she must NOT be let off lead in unsecure areas until her recall is proven.
