Thanks Karla, Sharon and Steve will be very proud and chuffed parents at that comment. Thanks much Nina. I do hope her life is different now from the start she had and it continues to get better and better. I'm sure they'd be like a pair of bookends Jenny. I wonder if George is as canny as Jasmine? It would be great to see them together and get some nice pics. She's had a lovely walk this morning and behaved really well. Two lots of joggers ran by her but she sat beautifully and focused on my hand that held the treats. She is very food focused and will be easy to train. She is not however, food possessive. She did the same when a dog walked by on the other side of the road. I'm hoping to meet up for a walk with my friend Nic later and her two greyhounds. Oh, nearly forgot to mention. Jasmine has taught herself to open all the internal doors in my house. I'm hoping she can't fathom the front and back doors. Eeek. She will also jump the gate I have between the living room and kitchen. I will work with her on those things but she really should not be underestimated. Stunning photos of Jazz and Marley . From what you say she is both clever and agile, and one should never underestimate a lurcher

Hello,
Is this lovely girlie still looking?
What are the chances of introducing her to my older girl (who is very shy) to see if they might be able get along together? Amber is quite nervous and has had very little socialisation from what I can gather....we've had her 2 years now and she's steadily improving. I get the impression a younger buddy might bring her out of her shell a bit - but I'm open to suggestions!
Thank you,
Emma

Just a quickie - Jasmine is at the vets today and has been spayed. The vet has been in touch and all is well. I've missed her a little bit too much. Oh heck.

Thanks all. She's home and has settled well after having a little sunbath in the garden. Trying to stop her from jumping up and stressing those stitches is proving a challenge but all is ok. Some more piccies. Jasmine and Spud really didn't seem to know what to make of one another! It was pretty funny to watch their interactions, I don't think she's seen the like of a bulldog before and was quite flumoxed though she remained polite throughout. ;D Nicely Chillaxed. She has a thing about snails which is not good so have to keep an eye on her when out in the garden. Jasmine Does Weeding. Ear Radar Jasmine has met quite a few dogs lately and has been very good with all of them. The ones that have come into the house, Marley and Spud, have only received a slight lip curl just to let them know it's her place and she's boss. All those we have met on walks have been treated very politely. I think she would do very well with a companion to play with.

Stunning pictures, glad to hear she's ok after her spay. Sounding like she's fairly well adjusted with other dogs

Just a quick update and a little 'bump'. I'd forgotton how much energy the youngsters have! Jasmine has found her voice too and has begun to tell me off in the evening for not playing with her enough. ;D She's also found a way of burning off some of her energy and my back garden has turned into a race track, this usually happens when I'm on the phone with mud being flung far and wide but usually in my direction. All very 'young lurcherish' stuff really. Her training sessions are going very well and she has now mastered on command: Sit, paw, other paw, down, stay, wait, sit-up, crawl, roach. She does understand the word 'no' but is selective with it! She also understands 'go downstairs' but is again reluctant to do it. These are all indoors so no other distractions around. We're still working on 'go to bed'. She can't catch for toffee. ;D She continues to try and jump up at people who come to say hello (not good in this muddy rainy weather) but we'll continue to work on that too. And she has been mouthing me a fair bit but only in over boistrous play which I'm sure will calm down. All in all she's doing really well and I'm really pleased with her progress. She's due to meet my friends Northern Inuit boy in the next few days so more piccies soon. He's a bit lively so I'm hoping they will wear each other out!

Jasmine really is a lovely dog, not just in her photos from Michaela, but in the flesh. She is simply stunning, and going to make somebody such a wonderfully loyal girl. This little girl, so deserves to find her forever home, after such a rocky start to her young life, and with michaela showing her the ropes, she has now started on the right path, to her future happiness xx Well done Michaela x and Jasmine, hopefully will find her new forever home soon xx

After seeing the piccies of her and your new littl foster Dash, I just wish a home for both would come up. They are such a lovely pair. Can you put their photo here
