The lovely Holly came round tonight with Dilly Doo drops and she was right at home here. She played with the JRT's and all of mine like an old friend ;D Karla is right about the fact she doesn't know her size or weight, she sent all the beds flying and managed to turn my kneecap inside out Holly is so affectionate, she loved to put her paws on my lady lumps and snuggle in and she just wants to love you and be loved Who ever gets this girl is one lucky family, I know it's something we all say but honestly Holly has got something extra special going on

Holly sounds so much like our Lottie in size and personality. She's absolutely beautiful, even if she is a bit of a heffalump, that thinks she's a puppy... She'll be such fun to own - and I'm sure she'll soon start to realize her own size and strength more soon. It took Lottie a while, but at just under 33Kg, she's easily the most delicate of ours when jumping on to the bed - you can see her planning it carefully so she doesn't jump on any of our sqidgy bits! We decided to go out for dinner tonight so gave the dogs a good walk and then left them all together for about 2.5hours. I'm pleased to report that Holly was as good as gold and we came home to zero incidents ;D ;D She's going for a sleep over tomorrow night with Gilly & Jim as Mark & I have a Christmas function that we have to go to and we'll be out for about 5hours. Ours will be ok for that amount of time we didn't want to leave Holly for so long so she's having a night away with her buddies

Sorry for the lack of updates on the gorgeous Holly - christmas kind of got in the way She continues to be a absolute pleasure and makes us laugh with her quirky ways ;D We've had my parents and aunt stay all over Christmas and she's totally charmed them. Just thought I'd add a few of Holly's likes and dislikes so that any potential adoptee will know if they can offer her the home she needs. For a start Holly loves, loves, loves, loves cuddles... Anyones lap will do.. She likes snacking on Reginalds Toys are a must...... without them she'll improvise with remote controls, shoes, gloves, mobile phones, glasses, cables or anything else accessable She loves to run.... especially after balls or rope toys or with friends... and she likes to make herself comfortable on sofas and beds.... not always leaving you any room to sit down There isn't a lot that Holly doesn't like to be honest other than being away from you. She doesn't create if you leave her alone but she just loves people so much that she'd rather be with you than without you. The good side to this is that her recall is pretty good, but she does get bored easily so just a stroll through the woods with out any interaction with her will bore her and she tends to wander off. If you play with her with balls or toys she'll stick to you like glue.

We've just been up to Bere Forest with the dogs and met my sister in law and her 3 springers up there. Holly was absolutely perfect with all the dogs she met. As she'd been so good off lead on field walks we thought we'd try her in the forest and she couldn't have been better - gold star awarded xxx
She's now completely knackered after going non stop through the forest with Reggie for almost 2 hours - I think it'll be very quiet in this house tonight xx
