Oscar was found wandering in Essex and has spent the last four months in holding kennels alongside his kennel buddy who we have also taken into SLR. Oscar is approximately a year to 16 months old. Still a baby and so loving. He is being fostered in Essex with two males and one female Lurcher who will show him the ropes. It is early days for Busker, and he will be booked in for neutering shortly.

He's being fab! He's discovered the very comfy doughnut bed and is curled up in there as happy as Larry! I have taken some photos, but am just cooking a roast dinner and will upload them later. xx

Thank you so much for taking him on. He's such a poppet and reminds me in character of Megan when she first came out of holding kennels. He stood on two legs and hugged into me. He is a lovely boy.

Oh no - he is 110% not staying! He is a fabulous little dog, and we all love him to bits, but three is our maximum. He settled down in our bedroom after some initial excitement at being in a different room - and was clean and dry all through the night. ;D He's such a happy little chap. Currently snuggled up on a big duvet in the living room. Calm and quietly waiting for his breakfast.

Wow! After nearly 5 months of kennelling. What a star. ;D ;D The first thing he and Bradders did when they got out of the kennel was have a long wee.

Well it's been a mad day here, because I had a team planning day at work that involved me being out all day, and Tony had an interview in London - and neither could be changed! We had already organised the dog walker to come in and take our three out this afternoon, and it wasn't fair to lumber her with an extra one! So .... my lovely long suffering husband Tony took everything in his stride this morning and was the first one of us to take all 4 out for a long walk single handedly! Oscar went off lead for the first time in a fenced area, and is faster than any of our hounds! And to think - Tony wasn't really a dog person until he met me!! We thought we may be able to leave Oscar in the crate for an hour until the dog walker arrived, but he barked the house down! So my lovely son came downstairs and sat with them, and then took Oscar out for a walk at the same time as our dog walker took our three out. He does pull on the lead, but this will come with time and its not unmanageable. I didn't find him particularly strong, but my strapping 18 year old said he was strong for his size. So it's all good in our house. Considering he has been kennelled for so long he is absolutely fabulous and a brilliant house guest. He is interested in flipping the kitchen bin open, but not OTT. We can eat and drink on the sofas - we just flap the TV magazine gently at him and he goes off to lie in his bed. Here he is relaxing - something he does very well. He is a fabulous little dog. He's booked in for his castration on Wednesday. I defy anyone not to fall in love with him after this snuggly photo.

Lots of good wishes for Oscar tomorrow please. He's booked in at the vets to be castrated. Everyone who has met him out on a walk has fallen in love with this boy. He has the most beautiful face. His favourite thing is to stand on his back legs and gently cuddle in to you. And he gives tiny little licky kisses on your face or your hand. But weirdly enough only to me - not to hubby or my son. Anyway please think of him tomorrow and send lots of healing vibes.
