Good Luck today Alfie.
I'm sure he'll be bouncing around again in no time, it's the keeping them quiet that's the hardest part!

Alfie is fine ;D my girls all came to greet him on his return with wagging tails he has slept a little, had his chicken and rice and Ive just had to stop him playing full on lurcher with Mia and Jazz! He was almost snached by the nurse there though who thought he was wonderful and if she didn't already have two rescue wippets would have applied for him. No one who meets this boy can resisit his charms.

Not looking too bad this evening after his op Laying with Jazz. Everytime they play they have to pull the covers off the old sofa. Please excuse the underwear on the clothes airer! Just noticed them

Alfie came with me today on a homecheck visit, I was so proud of him. He was polite never getting over excited, he sat next to me on the floor then chased his tail to show how clever he is! Went in the garden did a wee and a poo, had a good walk round and came back. He had got dirty paws from the garden and as we were now sitting on the nice light sofa's Jumped up to be with me , luckily the people were not at all put out and after using his charm on them managed to settle down next to me and have a nap while we went through the forms. They obviously loved him to bits, he is a real treasure. We also met a couple I know with their grandchild taking Millie their OE sheepdog for a walk and while mine were on leads Miss Gobby Mia made as much noise as she could at Millie inticing Jazz and Poppy to bark too although they had no idea why Alfie never made a noise and was very gentle with the little girl who could only have been about two, & let her stroke him. What a star he is.

Alfie's post op check today went well, stitch still in place, suprisingly as he has been playing with Mia but it's still holding in there! He travels very well settleing down as soon as you start off and no noise at all , where as Mia has to talk to you most of the way or rest her head on the back seat and watch you in the rear view mirror. He loves his food but is not food aggressive and lets you take it away even by hand without question . As well as the cat pinching it too if I dont watch him. Alfie has put on a little weight too as when he first came he managed to slip out of his collar buckled on the second hole but Its just right now. He's having a well earned sleep now so more pictures later. He really is a special dog who craves company and will repay your love 10 fold.

Sorry not been on computer too much as rotten headache or Alex is constantly talking to his friends on facebook . Alfie is still being wonderful, all the girls now love having him around even Poppy who likes to growl alot but its just pretend , (think she has a bit of short dog syndrome ) but he now knows she is only kidding and takes no notice, which only upsets her more! He loves to cuddle up with the girls or me but as soon as I move to take a picture he's up so no evidence I'm afraid. And I think if he dosen't go to his forever home soon he will fall head over heels in love with Mia and they will run away together!
