My little Jester is having a down day , his Bodhi is in the vets and even though there is 5 other dogs around he is just missing him alot I took them up to Manor Farm again but he was just not interested and stuck to me like glue, I think Bodhi being in the vets has really upset him, I will take him with me at 4pm to pick his best buddy up Jester would have to go to a home with younger other dog/s, he is very affectionate towards the dogs and likes to play. My Bodhi is 19 months so I guess he is looking at him as a great play friend and he is learning off him (not sure that's a good thing )

Sorry for not updating Jesters thread for a few days, it has been a little made here what with Bodhi in and out of the vets This lad is very cute boy and everyone that meets him falls head over heals in love He is still very clingy with Bodhi and if separated from him he will have a good cry and it takes him some time to settle Jester has dropped some weight over the last few days , I am thinking that there might be some worms that didn't die so I gave him another worming tablet last night, I have also increased his meals and added more veg Jester is a typical pup and given half the chance his favorite game is to steal my slippers and shoes and run off to the garden with them ;D, he has only chewed a flip flop so far and I think that's because it was rubber ;D Jester sleeps well in his bed (yes Bodhi still gives up his bed every night for him) and will lay in until at least 07:30am, but he is not demanding and will happily settle for a cuddle if I want that extra 30 mins in bed ;D He is going to have another bath this week as his coat is falling out by the handfuls No his favorite thing but it will make him feel better after

The bath had to come early! he is very good off lead and was leaping about the woods when he and Roxy spied the muddle little pond, Jester loves to run through them at top speed splashing everyone ;D ;D he then "gets the wind up" and runs up and down like a banshee for a few moments, lovely to see him so happy and playing so well with all the other dogs

Perfect ;D A gorgeous puppy doing exactly what a puppy should be doing and that's having fun He's such a good boy too, with a spot on recall - just needs a nice young buddy to play with and he'll be a fabulous dog for someone. So nice to see Sammy having so much fun too

Jester is a perfect little house guest He wakes us up about 6am and climbs on the bed for a cuddle, rapidly going straight back to sleep . Once I get up it is then playtime, typical puppy, but he is happy to find a toy and play on his own if none of the others are in the mood. Jester stands waiting for his breakfast very politely and has learned where his food bowl goes (seven dogs, one kitchen = organisation ;D). He has no food aggression and eats gently without gobbling it down. When out and out Jester is great off lead, he has a perfect recall to me whistling (not a working whistle though), and will meet all breeds of dogs with a waggly tail. He met a couple of horses last night and was barking a lot but not aggressively. Jester does love water and given every opportunity will jump in to water, swamp etc etc, stinky little sod ;D Once he is wet he will then go mad, running flat out so it's time for us to hug a tree ;D On-lead Jester does pull, but we are doing some training with him. He also barks at other dogs when on-lead , I think this is because he can't get to them, again we are working on this. Jester does like a good game of chase, and he is quite keen on the cat's across the road from us so I think it's safe to say he is not cat friendly. Love Jester's Foster Mummy

Jester is in the wars a bit, see the thread in general chat, he has a nasty cut on his shoulder which has been stitched and is now resting, considering the trauma he has been through he is bearing up well and shows what a solid boy he is.

Update on the lovely Jester. Well he has had a good and bad start to his life here in England Jester loves being off the lead, and we walk all our dogs every evening in the local woods. Well Jester got a little carried away and basically came off worse for running into a tree Update from his thread on General Chat (17 June 2010): We are home and Jester is still completely out of it. He is on the sofa having a sleep He has some internal stitches and five external stitches, anti-b's for a week and the stitches can come out in ten days all healing well All the veterinary nurses fell in love with him and he has had so many cuddles, they really are a great bunch down there. I am taking Bodhi to the vet's tomorrow for his toe so they asked if I could bring Jester with me so that they can check him over Piccies from last night; After his operation today; I need my big Brother And this is what Ollie thinks of it all (sorry it's blurry) Update from his thread on General Chat (18 June 2010) Well what a week, all I can say is that I am glad it is the weekend We went to the vets tonight for Jester to have a check up, the vet is very pleased with him and said there is no swelling etc. Jester is on-lead for the next ten days (god help me ). Bodhi had all his bandages removed and his toe is still huge , even the vet was gutted. The poor boy is still on lead walks for another week and because all the dressings have been removed he is only allowed pavement walks So, that's two of my boys on lead, and walking a max of 20 mins . Thank god we are seeing great friends this weekend Love ya Jester
