Jester is a total poppet and we don't even know he is here He has had a great first day considering how tired and confused he was when Jim picked him up at 06:20am Jester has had two big meals and eats lovely with the other dogs, even if they push in Bodhi adores him and they go everywhere together (awwwww), but the down side is that my Ollie may be a little jealous and is taking his own sweet time to come around to this little fella. So far Jester has not shown any silly habits, but I am sure Bodhi will teach him a few naughty ones if no one gets him quick Bodhi was showing him how to throw a bed around the garden earlier ;D Jester has a vets appointment tomorrow for his microchip and a check over, but I think he is fine We are off out in a min for a walk

It definitely looks like Bodhi has taken him under his wing! He looks like such a happy boy and definitely happier in this heat with all that excess fluff taken away!

Sounds like he's had a good first day of his new life I'm sure Ollie is just looking on with interest and not jealous, give him a couple of days and he'll love Jester just as much as Bodhi does xx

Jester had a great nights sleep, once he realised that he was not on our bed but his own He ate his breakfast in the kitchen with the others, no problems at all, he has lovely manners with the other dogs. He is a total foodie though and will try to help himself to our food given the chance. I believe though that once he realises that he can have two meals a day and treats he will calm down. Jester went to the vets this morning and was given a thumbs up from the vet He is 18.9kg, he was also a brave boy for his microchip and didn't even make a sound. We took all the dogs to the new Forest this afternoon to meet up with Jenny and great friends, and plenty of dogs Jester was a big hit and enjoyed saying hello to so many new dogs and people. He is great around kids and enjoyed the fuss He traveled well in the car, settling fast and sleeping there and back. Next stage is to get him used to being walked on the lead properly, and letting him off lead with the others so that we can test his recall (he does come running back to me if I whistle). This little lad is very lovable and I'm sure there is the right sofa out there for him

Morning Jester fans This little lad had another peaceful nights sleep with no accidents We found out why he is such a foodie, after giving him his worming tablet yesterday this mornings poo was FULL of worms Poor little Jester, I will worm him again in four weeks to make sure they are all killed We have the Stokers over today for a BBQ so he will have his playmate Dexter We are going to a long walk so might try to find an enclosed field and let him off lead to see what his recall is like. Piccies and updates later guys

I did try to steal Jester yesterday but got caught out however I might try again today He's a really lovely, friendly, happy little lurcher pup i honestly don't think he'll be hanging around too long. Poor little fella having worms but thankfully it's been caught now and with the love & care from the TM family he'll be fit as a fiddle in no time

What a fab weekend Jester has settled in great and loves being with a pack of dogs, well Bodhi mainly. We went down to our local field this morning and decided to let Jester off to see what his recall is like, he was a little super star. He comes back to me whistling more than calling and loves the fact he gets a treat for it He ran his little socks off and stuck to Bodhi like glue. On that note we would have to say that Jester would need to go to a home with another dog, male or female as he is just a youngster and plays well This afternoon the Stokers came over with Dilly, Vinnie, Dexter, Shylo and Reggie They all chilled out and played well together, no issues to report. Once the weather had cooled we went for a walk up the woods and again we let Jester off lead. He didn't stray and played well with Dexter, Bodhi and the JRT's. I am going to call the vets tomorrow for some advise as Jester's worm situation is like nothing I have ever seen There are so many and I just want to check that the one dose will kill them all Karla took lots of piccies today so hopefully she will update Jester's thread later

I met Jester on Saturday at the New Forest walk and although he seemed a lovely dog, nothing about him really got to me as such.... that was until we went round Gilly & Jim's yesterday and I got to spend a bit of one on one time with this lad OMG, he is absolutely scrummy everything about him is gorgeous! He is a little darling with other dogs, sometimes getting overly excited in play but that's because he's only 7 months old, but he's respectful and if an older dog tells him no he accepts that and moves on. He is a real cuddle monster and I got a proper paws on the shoulder hug from him along with lots of kisses ;D We experienced his fabulous recall yesterday when out on the walk and even though he had Dexter constantly barking in his ear he didn't seem to mind at all and happily ran around with him. Bodhi is most definitely his best buddy at the moment which is so nice to see and obviously goes to show he has excellent taste loves ya Bo-Bo I agree with Gilly, Jester is definitely in need of dog company and ideally should be homed with at least one other dog. I have got lots of pictures and I'll get them up loaded this evening and add to this post. You can't really go wrong with this little fella and he really is fabulous chap and will totally steal your heart if you let him Come on peeps what are you waiting for - get in touch

Huge thank you for the great update on Jester Karla, and I am so pleased that you also find him as scrummy as I do Thanks for the piccies Karla and Sally, they really show how handsome he is Jester has had another fantastic day here at the TM's Foster House. He is definitely feeling better for getting those worms out and is starting to play loads with the others, even Ollie was getting in on the action today ;D Jim had to pop out earlier today and had to leave before I got home, this meant that all the dogs were on their own for 1.5 hours and I can report that I returned to seven dogs sleeping and no accidents Good boy Jester I don't think that Jester is cat friendly as there are four in the house across from us and he was quite keen He is small dog friendly though and has lovely manners for elder dogs.
