It's a very blue day in the MaD House today It's not much of a secret that we were fostering Saffie with a view to fail but, after much soul searching (and some sleepless nights) we've very reluctantly decided that we are not the best home for her She is the most perfect of dogs and ticks all the right boxes for us but she and Judy are proving incompatible. We also think she'll be happier with a more active household. Apologies to everyone for the lack of updates on Saffie over the last few days. I knew there were families waiting in the wings for our decision and I did not want to hurt their feelings by dangling photos, etc., of her. She will be having visitors shortly and I have no doubts that a happy ending will follow.

You have given her that lovely first start Donna, with some tranquil peace. Judy has to be your priority and we ALL respect you for that. Thinking of you both. xx

Well done Donna, I know it must have been a very hard decision but Judy has to come first and then the needs of Saffie. Judy's soul mate (and yours) will come along x PS she's not going to Laurie is she !!!!!!! ;D

This beautiful girlie has been duly discharged from the MaD House and into the very capable care of these two lovelies ........ A huge thank you to the Chard family for giving this most fabulous of Flookies the home she deserves (and for the shoulder ). Letting this one go was tough but made much easier by the knowledge of how well loved she will be PS. Can I put in a bill for the Kleenex please

Seems a very uncomfortable day in many ways, our utter delight as a family is at the expenses of Donna and Mark, who have clearly had an unbelievably tought decision - you have clearly helped Saffi on her road to happiness again and we give you our complete assurance we will do everything in our power to continue your good work. She has had a good start, she has eaten a little dinner and had a mad whizz around the garden at full speed, followed by a 'garden trick' , so not accidents so far either. If she wags her tail any more she will fall over, she has spent most of the afternoon on her back with legs in the air, probably her vulnerable submissive side coming through but lovely as well. Our girls, Hayley and Rhianna, love her to bits and have hardly stopped swooning and stroking her, so much so that we have set out a rota shift pattern so Saffi gets a break !! She has ventured into her crate but seems to be happiest in her basket at the moment, not sure what the plan for tonight is, feels like having a baby around again. Sure we will work it out anyway. Thanks SLR. More updates to follow The Chard Crew Darren and Shelley PS - Donna you didnt mention she snored, we want a discount !!! ;D Photo this evening cuddling little monkey toy Attachments:
