Great news. So it's Roast Chicken and another night on the sofa for Uncle Barney. I'm assuming that Sasha won't immediately be too hungry, so the chicken will go in to roast on our arrival back from the vets.

Sasha's safely back here & is absolutely fine. She's currently resting on the settee - she's just a tad tired, but certainly nowhere near as groggy as some I've seen immediately after the op, & not too tired to wag her tail.
T'other hounds were pleased to see her back, & are being very gentle with her. Barney x

Sasha a few minutes ago:
I haven't attempted to give the lass her roast chicken as yet - if she shows no sign of being hungry I'll give it to her for breakfast in the morning.

I've been offline for a while, and I've just seen her. What a little beauty!
I'm so glad Wipuki got in first, because I REALLY don't have room. ;D .D
I think my Prim will look just like her when she finally gets her fur back. I hope she looks as beautiful as Sasha.
Wishing you and Uncle Barney a peaceful night little Sasha. I shall follow your thread closely.

Wishing you and Uncle Barney a peaceful night little Sasha. I'm pleased to confirm that your wish was granted Sam - we had an undisturbed night until around 4.30 a.m., when Moss came to check that we were o.k. Sasha soon went back to sleep snuggled up against me until a few minutes ago when I got up to make a cuppa. At the risk of repeating myself - I thinkyou must be a Saint Barney 4.30am ouch

Aaaaaaargh!! Sasha had to have her head washed, as on her second walk of the afternoon she managed to get it underneath Murphy whilst he was weeing! Obviously I couldn't give her a full shower because of her op wound, but her head's back to its normal colour now.

Sasha, together with Moss, was safely delivered into the care of her new foster parents, Donna & Mark this morning, & all concerned were happy to be in each other's company.
Be good Sasha, & be happy - we know that you'll continue to be well cared for.
