its just so great to hear that hetty is doing so well, and lovely pictures. she does like the men, as she had loads of cuddles with Pete, whilst staying with us, but she is a cuddle monster, and really is willing to cuddle anyone that will give one back. and she is just so adaptable considering, i bet she will be in seventh heaven, when she realises this is her forever home, and no more moving on. be good hetty for your new mum and dad, and hopefully see you again soon. xx

And two more of Hetty at home. Surveying her own personal pond and ducks. And with one of her new little sisters.

Hello again from Hetty... Well almost 7 weeks of farm life and things are Thank you so much Jenny for your help and advice a month ago. Things really just slotted straight into place. The garden fortifications are a thing of the past; Hetty now roams freely in her 2000 acre back garden, chasing the bunnies and hares of Herkstead Green. Although her favourite spot is still basking in the sunshine by the back door and within easy reach of the pond and the poor tormented moorhens! We haven't quite mastered off-lead on our daily walk. Hetty will stay close - or a least come back after a chase - until we're within 1/2 mile or so of the house, then she's off!! We've yet to get home together ;D She's completely besotted with my husband and gets on great with both her 'sisters'. We all look forward to seeing her face appear at the window when we get home (the crate door is now left open - Hetty's den rather than a necessity). She still very much a cuddle monster but there's always a hug to be had! Anyway, here are some photos (I hope!).... It was a cold, wet day for a walk... Hmm... Bluebells Hurry up with the treat! I need to be off the lead.... Chasing bunnies After a hard day, chasing bunnies! (Do you like the blanket? It's our compromise, since Mum gave up on the 'NOT ON THE SOFA HETTY' As with the children - she picks her battles!!!)
