Thank you for another very positive update Dale - 'tis so pleasing to know that the pair are getting along well in true Lurcher style.

I thought it was about time for another update, Hope continues to grow in leaps and bounds (Quite literally) we went visiting a friend of mine who has a rescue greyhound form Blue Cross during the week as i have been trying to increase her exposure to different situations for socialisation. As you can see from the below video and picture, she was more than happy to join in the bitey face games and let them know when she was feeling left out, she was also once soldier showed her it was ok, quite happy to abandon me and go sit on the sofa with other people to get fuss (as long as I didn't go out of site of course). We also revisited the parents and their pack this week and she has become firm friends with their black lab bitch, I think it's all girls together, unfortunately, I don't have any videos as 6 dogs running around was too chaotic to video as well, but believe me it was fun to watch with lots of woofs. She continues to work on her "look at me I'm sweet and innocent" face, which believe me is all front !!! As she is very good at initiating games, bitey face and hijinks She and Soldier continue to bond and become bestest friends even if Soldier doesn't like to admit it sometimes.. We are also getting very used to the home comforts, I normally wake up sandwiched between two hounds Or to hope in some equally ridiculous but I'm comfortable position. We also had fun over Christmas watching 102 Dalmations on TV, or anything else that had woofs going on in it. And generally, we are making ourself at home.

Lovely update Dale. Hope will have Soldier under her paw in no time and me thinks you might already be there? Is that a beautiful new collar? Perhaps a Christmas present? xx

This week we have decided we are a proper house dog, barking at the postman or anyone that dares to come near her kennel, I have to admit that's quite a new thing for me as none of the lurchers I have had in the past has been at all interesting in guarding, and I think that goes towards the chunk of Lab in her that I am sure exists. With that said, she is always really friendly and happy to meet people that I let in. She has also found a new game, if someone is in the way that stops her running round to get on the couch, that's fine she just launches herself from a standing start straight over the back of the couch to get onto it, I'm sure she must have watched superman over Christmas, (leaps tall buildings in a single bound) As you can see Soldier is getting quite used to having her around now.
